????MUST READ???? Absolutely the rudest server and host I have ever experienced. Do not be fooled by positive reviews of this... place - restaurants that advertise (such as this one) have higher reviews placed at the top. As other reviewers have written,the service was SO RUDE. Menu had about two entrées and looked liked it was written by a child and we were seated in the dirt.For some reason their live music meant that they could not serve us the menu that they promise online. Honestly, I don?t even know where to begin. At first glance, this restaurant gives a warm welcome, with an amazing menu and... bright atmosphere. Our experience was anything but bright. First, we are brought to ?the only table they have left? which isliterally in the bushes far away from other tables. (There were other tables for parties of 4 around us, FYI). We were broughtto our table and the host chucked the hand-written menus on our table stating, ?we have a band tonight so this is our menu? then walked away without even looking at us. First of all, the menus looked like they were written by a 4-year-old. I have noidea how a band could impact a menu at a ?nice? restaurant, but it had about 10 options (7 of which were appetizers???) Me and afriend I was with looked at each other in astonishment. As we all sat down, our waiter came over 10 minutes later and asked ?doyou know what drinks you want?? There were no drink options on the child?s menu!! So that was already frustrating. I ask, ?arethese the only options for food?? because I still couldn?t believe it. He goes, ?Um he didn?t tell you?? We all looked at eachother completely shocked. The only thing running through my mind was where the hell are we??? We left the moment he said thisbecause he was absolutely rude and unwelcoming. There?s a lot to not like about this restaurant. They don?t take reservations, they?re only open for 4 hours (5pm - 9pm)... Wednesday through Sunday, there?s no air conditioning inside & the patio seating is uncomfortable metal chairs on an unevenbrick floor that snags the chair legs & can leave you balancing yourself through the whole meal (as I was). The menu wasunique & we ordered a variety of appetizers which were good - but not delicious. They charge for a bread basket & we sharedone. Our entrees included the grilled duck, seared salmon & a pasta dish. I had the duck which was cooked to a nice mediumrare. Unfortunately it was chewy & skinless. The sides were an unidentifiable pair of muffin-shaped starchy something that waspasty & nearly tasteless. Vegetables were fresh but essentially raw. I was told that the salmon was dry, but tasted good. The pasta eater enjoyed her meal. I highly recommend the hummingbird cake & chocolate torte. Service was good & we enjoyedourselves despite the expensive, mediocre food. Read more
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Terra Luna a few days ago. The outside seating is surrounded by flowers and has a... romantic feel. The seared salmon was amazing and the hummingbird cake was delicious. Our waitress, Simone, made the nightspecial. She was patient, kind, and was able to work with the bartender to make a special drink for my wife. We have driven bythis restaurant many times while in the Cape. We are so glad we made the decision to try this restaurant. It is a hidden gem. Wewill definitely be back many times! Read more

OK so let me begin by saying that I?ve been going to this restaurant for many many years and my wife and I have always loved the... food as well as the service. I don?t know what happened last night but I ordered duck breast to the tune of $38.00. In a word,it sucked. I had a steak knife which I could barely cut through the meat with partly because it was undercooked, let me restatethat, undercooked poultry?.. Wethe people next to us also sent back a dish and refused to pay for it. This occurred during myincident and the chef came out and spoke to them but never said a word to us knowing that my dish was sent back. It was returnedto me about two minutes (at the most)later, cooked a wee bit more but still tough as leather. One piece was left on the platebecause it was solid fat. We?ve had so many great experiences there that we would probably try it one more time but two strikesis the end. Very disappointing. We live locally on Beach Point in the Fall, always been loyal customers. Read more
