Food was good, portions don't make sense and Service was AWFUL. Don't complain at restaurants unless it is necessary. Our... waitress basically ignored our table most of the time we were there. She only came to take drink and food order, deliverappetizer and bring entrees. We tried to get attention in between but she was MIA or ignored our table. My children are bothunder 8 and were very well behaved and patient, so there was no reason to treat us like black sheep. My son's $9 pasta dish had3 bites of spaghetti and when I questioned waitress on portion size, she was extremely rude and said "well it is all measuredout". My older son had chicken parm dish and even had leftovers, so the portions were definitely off. Tried to tell the manageror front end staff about my disappoint and they didn't really seem to care either. Guess we will not be returning. Read more
A nice family owned restaurant. The pizza is amazing and I have never had a bad meal. It is well liked by the fulltime... residences, which I always take as a good sign. It is not fancy but a nice atmosphere. I would say it is kid friendly. Read more
Ordered pizza for take-out. Ready on time and hot enough to fog up my car windows a bit. Group of 7 ranging from 15 to 84 all... thought the pizza was very good. And although not cheap I was pleased with the price as everything is pricey on the Cape. Therestaurant looked nice and clientele all seemed to be enjoying themselves. Would certainly recommend. Our waitress did a great job of being personable and attentive. We started off the meal with crusty homemade Italian bread that... one could dip into extra virgin olive oil and grated Locatelli Pecorino Romano cheese. We each had a different entree. My wifeenjoyed every single bite of Ravioli. Our son enjoyed pepperoni pizza that was made with homemade dough that was light, fluffyand crusty and then topped with a flavorful tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and pepperoni. The crust was thin, fluffy with theperfect snap and crunch. The ravioli were chock full of ricotta cheese and seasonings and covered in a very fresh tomato sauce.The Scallop Picatta dish was lemony with a great balance of thinly sliced garlic and briney capers. The homemade linguine wasthe perfect addition to this entree. For dessert we enjoyed a light mousse like filling in the Nutella Cheesecake, richTiramisu, and light and delicious Cannoli. Read more
A fantastic family-owned Italian restaurant in Cape Cod, you can?t go wrong if you chose Montano?s for lunch/dinner. We were a... huge group and decided to split into smaller groups so that we could order without thinking too much. The bread served wasdelicious and soft, we had to have additional servings. We started off with ordering the fried mozzarella marinara which seemedunique and tasted great. We then went for a fettuccine Alfredo which couldn?t have been better done. The Alfredo sauce was asgood as it gets. The pizza that we ordered turned out to be huge and we were smart in the sense that we only ordered one for thetable. I had to try their Key Lime Pie and even that was spectacular. Pricing is a little above average but considering it to beCape Cod, the prices seem reasonable. We had a wonderful experience dining at Montano?s and I?d definitely recommend this placeif you are looking for one in the Cape Cod area around Truro/Wellfleet. Read more
Good sized portions, nice selection of Italian wines and a separate large list of other wines. The pizza we saw delivered to a... table near us look especially nice. Ample toppings and a bubbled crispy looking crust. A future try! Read more
