Was warned about the current state of service by others prior to going but unfortunately i did not listen. Thought because we... came in at 430pm ot would be easy to get a ta le and a quick sandwich. Well we got the table quick but quickly became a jokewhile Waiting for our server. Only 2 other tables in this place and 6 servers that rather talk to each other than help theirtables. Food was good but waiting 20 mins for ketchup,a drink, the bill making a sandwich take a hour and half not good. Read more

Food was great and priced reasonably. However, be prepared to wait a long time and the service is not the greatest. Went with my... family of 5 (wife, 3 kids aged 9,8,3) arrived at 5:15. Was told 30 min wait which turned into an hour. Sat down and waitinganother 20 mins until a waitress showed up. Ordered food and waited another 45 mins for appetizer and then 30 more until ourfood got there. I was told that there was a slight delay but, it shouldn?t be a problem because a lot of people had just left.Food was hot and yummy, just took forever to come out. Left at 8:30, with tired miserable kids. Waitress never asked how ourfood was, or asked if we needed anything. Hopefully they can straighten this out. Read more

I stopped in tonight after having dinner down the street. It said that they were open until 2 AM online. I walked in at 10:20 PM... to grab a beer after dinner. There were several people sitting at the bar and the employee bartending immediately said, ?we?reclosed?. I don?t expect them to stay open until 2 AM on a Sunday. But it was 10:20, again, with several people at the bar. Theyneed to get their google hours updated! Read more

After a day on the boat we decided to pop over to NT and find a place to eat. It was a beautiful Saturday evening and everywhere... was super busy. Since we did not have a reservation a few places couldn?t even seat us that evening. It was a bit of a wait heretoo but there was a band so we decided to come to JP Dwyer?s. The restaurant is pretty big. Lots of tables inside and they canaccommodate groups. They have a large outdoor patio as well with a good amount of seating. It?s definitely a historic buildingand divey kind of bar. First of all the service was not good. It took a long time to get menus, waters and finally drinks.Trying to get refills was even harder. Once we were able to order the food took a ridiculous amount of time. We waited well overan hour. We ordered very standard bar type food. The server barely came back to check on us. People who came after us got theirfood before us. We asked the server about the food status at one point and she said it wasn?t ready and she would check. 15minutes later the food came. Some was hot and fresh. Other items were cold, one item was not edible. I understand it?s busy andplaces are understaffed but we would have rather gotten the food as it was cooked so people could eat their food hot. It didn?tseem like the server cared much or was paying attention to when the food was up. My pizza logs were hot and tasty. The sweetpotato fries were cold. I did love that they were shoestring and still very crispy. They would have been even better hot. Mysignificant other had the steak sandwich and he said it was fine. Other friends had the wings and said they were very good.Another friend had a burger which came out burnt, like had black char on one side. It was really obvious and the kitchen shouldhave caught this and not sent it out. It took so long to get our food we ended up having to drive the boat home in the dark. Nota great situation. Seems we came on a bad night. We did enjoy the band and people watching. I Read more

Out of all the pubs in North Tonawanda this is definitely the most welcoming and accommodating. The outdoor patio offers a bowl... of water to all those with paws. The burgers are always cooked perfectly and are so large I can guarantee you won't be able tofinish it. The steak sandwich is my favorite. The staff is attentive and personable; Alyssa is excellent, remembering us and ourorder each time. Read more
