Went there after seeing the 4.8 on google maps, and quick conclusion, the restaurant doesn?t deserve a 4.8, the food was pretty... bad. Highly doubt the chef know anything about Korean food. A star for the waiter, he was really nice and provided excellentservice. The place was also pretty nice, clean and well cared for. But the food did not match the expectations from the googlereviews. The bibimbap had a weak taste and a fully cooked egg. The bulgogi is too sweet. In addition, the Korean fried chickenand the pork were not fresh and had a raw and stinky taste. Although the spring rolls were good but they are the size of afinger. Everything we ordered were on the recommendation list and none of them left a good impression. Didn?t expect real Koreanfood here but this is just bad food. Not to mention the price is too high compared to the quality. A decent place without goodfood. Read more

What a fantastic find! The fusion of traditional Korean BBQ and other flavors is great. The service is impeccable and the... complementary hot miso soup on a cold February day was the perfect starter. We had the spring rolls and spicy shrimp as an appand then had the Kimchi Chicken Burger. All in all a great experience and would 100% go back. If you are in North Sydney waitingfor the ferry or just traveling through do yourself a favor skip the Subway, Pizza Places and Tim's and hit up D'Theatre KoreabBARbq! Read more

Visiting North Sydney for the weekend and tried to find a place to eat. Found this place on line and decided to try it. What a... beautiful surprise it was. The staff were exceptional, 3 of them took turns waiting on us. The food was awesome from the springrolls and TTEOKBOKKI (spicy rice cakes) to the stir fry spicy chicken and stir fry spicy pork. The spicy stir fries weren't onlyspicy but sooooo flavorful. Would highly recommend to any locals looking for a nice quiet, but friendly restaurant with greatfood at a very reasonable price and with great service to boot, should definitely give this place a try. Heard this place just opened, so had to check it out; and this place is a hidden gem. We ordered the Korean fried chicken... (KFC), spring rolls, Bulgogi, and Tonkatsu... All of it was incredible! Those who have had these dishes before somewhere elsewould love them! The Tonkatsu was so juicy and crispy, I wanted another piece of deep fried pork but didn't have room. Theyreally need to advertise that their spring rolls are homemade; first bite and I knew. So good! We didn't get the BBQ set, butothers did when we were leaving and it stopped me in my tracks. Looked so good. Highly recommend this place. Would be a greatplace for a date night. Get a BBQ for 2.. or 3 if you eat like me. Read more
