Since I've never even been to Egypt I can't say this is just like home cooking from there. But I truly imagine it is. I enjoy... authentic food presented simply. This place scored high on every count: fresh chef prepared food, simple presentation, clean &homey environment, and service that exceeds expectations. Our server, Reem, welcomed us like family arriving after a long, hardjourney. She answered all my naive questions joyfully. And when we couldn't eat all of our Sampler helped us pack up theleftovers. Delicious dishes and teas. Friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Spacious with group reservation area available. Quiet and... peaceful during daytime hours and occasional evening entertainment. Interior is plain and tablecloths are damaged. With a littledressing up this could be 5 stars. Read more
I really enjoyed the food! I had the shrimp kabob meal with the fatoush salad. All I can say is superb! The food is very good!
Their tabbouli is great as well as the lentil soup, and I always love getting some hummus as an appetizer. Both their gyros and... shish kabobs plates are excellent. I usually opt to go for the rice or grilled vegetables for the side. A good place to checkout for Mediterranean. Read more
So glad I finally stopped in! I got the Shish combo and the meats were so tender and flavorful! I could also just eat a plate... of the carrots alone. They were a pleasant surprise. Stopped here for lunch after the gun range. The flavors were wonderful. Had the Meat Shawarma Sandwich and the Chicken,... Hummus, and Taboli (CHT) Sandwhich. Both had a lot of flavor. With the CHT it did have a strong lemon taste. There were verylittle people here at 12:30 on a Saturday. Hope that they can stay in business Read more
Absolutely delicious. Read several reviews before and I agree. I had combo shawarma: the lentil soup which was piping hot and... very good (especially on this cold & rainy day). Meats were both flavorful and enjoyed the grilled vegetables-really liked thecarrots (as did another reviewer). The fabulous item was the garlic sauce (white one pictured)! Nice meal with nothing tooheavy-just great flavors. The place could use some upkeep (agree with other review) but hard to do when you open your businessat the start of a pandemic! Friendly staff.
