Chopped brisket was delicious. I'm not usually a Mac&cheese fan, but the jalapeno M&C was very good. The nacho plate was great.... Fried okra was a favorite too, but be careful. It's not cooked until you order, so it's hot when they bring it to your table. Read more

Disappointing. I ordered the loaded baked potato (or whatever they call it) with brisket to go. It was ready when I arrived. ... Upon getting to my destination and opening the plate...I found there were no utensils or napkins provided. Then I saw thepotato wasn't cut open either. The toppings were all provided in separate small containers. While there was plenty of brisket, the butter and sour cream were lacking, given the size of the potato. For my personal taste, the potato was a bit hard, underdone but the bottom was scorched. And not having enough butter or sour cream, it resulted in a dry potato. Not a goodexperience. Read more

I love a good BBQ joint so me and the fam decided to try them for lunch today they had a great menu and some good options also... weren't super pricey in my opinion, we tried the loaded baked potato for my son then my wife had Chicken Fried Steak, and I hadthe 3 Meat Platter..... the food was good except for these ribs.... had to take my 1st order back because they were tough anddry..... got the 2nd order and it wasn't much better..... its like they use the charring method on all the Meat and that leavesit tasting slightly burnt.....I may go back.... but no Ribs for me lol Read more

This is an old building that was a feed store, so it is pretty rustic inside, but very clean. The serving line was staffed with... 3 guys that were very friendly and attentive to what you wanted. My wife and I had the sliced brisket sandwich, he got a freshone for our sandwiches. We also got sides, coleslaw potato salad and fried okra. Okra was hot as cooked to order. Coleslaw wasperfect and potato salad was chunky. Brisket was plastic fork cutting tender. Sauce on side. One team member came by our tabletwice to make sure all was good. Great patio for outdoor eating. Restrooms were clean. The high point was the friendliness ofteam members. We enjoyed and recommend you go. Read more

Ordered the 3 meat got 2 of my meats the ribs and the other pulled pork. I liked it and the gentleman who was cashier was really... funny and cordial. Only 4 stars because it really was a smoke flavor and not to much of any other flavor until you put the BBQsauce on it. The smoky baked beans were a little over smoked. Otherwise a good place to eat. I bought the brisket sandwich with mac n cheese and mashed potatoes and gravy through a delivery app. Everything I received was... great, tasty and seasoned well. I only gave four stars since I have not dined in yet. I will do so in the near future. Try thisplace out! Read more

Ordered the BBQ Special family pack. We opted for a pound of sliced brisket, potato salad, beans with bacon and fried okra.... Comes with 4 Texas toasts. The brisket was thick sliced, tasty and it was a generous amount for one pound. The beans & potatosalad were standard size pints but the okra filled a to go plate, all by itself. Can easily feed 4 people with this order andall the food was quite good. The photo is just one plate I made up, you can easily make 4 of these. Read more

A 4.8 rating for sure! Very clean & cozy rustic dining area. I was surprised to see that there was also a full bar available... with some great spirits on hand, not just the run-of-the-mill stick at that! Marvelous fork-tender brisket that doesn?t justfall entirely apart (an important point for me, personally) & very flavorful jalapeño pork sausage while not being punishing onthe spicy side of the palate. The spicy BBQ sauce had a wonderful balance of sweetness to it that was not quite the level ofheat I was looking for, but managed to fit the bill & the meats very well. The sides are very good though they didn?t standapart exceptionally - make no mistake, they?re Very good, but didn?t reinvent the wheel. The small craft soda selections fromOak Cliff were far superior to the large brand soft drinks typically found. Made with real sugar, they surely added anunexpected touch to my dining experience that I enjoyed more than I would?ve figured. The staff was very knowledgeable abouttheir offerings & were able to really make this a place that stands apart. Clean, courteous & knowledgeable are all high marksthat they earned & helped to seal my many future returns. In all, a warm, inviting atmosphere with great food that I?d be happyto share with out of town guests or a gathering place with friends & family. A typical Texas ?gully-washer? of a storm was aboutto hit as I arrived, so I didn?t get to enjoy the day?s cooler August temperature on their patio, but I hope to on subsequentvisits! Read more
