Maybe we caught them on a bad day but our experience here was almost indescribably bad. The miso tasted like what I'd expect... dirty dishwater to taste like. The appearance was similar as well. The "hibachi" left a foul, oily residue and aftertaste in ourmouths. The restaurant was also unbearably hot. I normally try to give places a second chance but I can't bring myself to do sothis time. If you?re thinking you want to hibachi experience do not come to this place. It?s just a regular Chinese place that uses the... word hibachi To draw your attention. We were already there so my friend and I decided to give it a try for lunch. I ordered thechicken hibachi entrée with a spicy tuna roll. The spicy tuna roll tasted OK very simple. When I tried the chicken I thought itmight?ve been the sauce on it and but it didn?t taste right. Four hours later and I am uncontrollably nauseous and just spentthe past 30 minutes in the bathroom throwing everything up. Food is great, wait times are even quicker. I think their cashier/front of house person must be new; I?ve been there twice and... both times I?ve been very specific about what sauces I wanted, and both times they?ve gotten it wrong. Very frustrating to gethome and not have what you ordered/paid for, as they charge extra for sides of sauce. Check your order in entirety beforeleaving/ make sure you?ve gotten everything you?ve requested/paid for. Food is yummy as always. Wish the menu was more informative, and accurate. They have a website, but when you go to the website,... it asks if you want to buy the domain, which means they didn't pay to renew it. They recently updated the menu, added a fewitems, BUT they removed the entire side dish section, so no current prices on those items??? No prices anywhere ever on how muchextra sauces are??? The receipt is not itemized so it's sort of a guessing game on prices unless you remember to ask. Pleasemake all the prices easy to find, and current. This includes side dishes and sauces. And please have website working if you aregoing to have it on the menu. Also if you order online through any online services, the prices are increased on SOME menuitems, not all. Some are only increased very little an other items, it's quiet alarming the price increase to order through a3rd party food website like GrubHub. And the price increases are still there even if you go pick it up yourself. And every 3rdparty site, has completely different prices, so those aren't even comparable. Makes no sense. Came in about 4pm on weekday, ordered and food was done within 10 minutes for takeout. Clean restaurant, more importantly food... was fresh and delicious. Got Vegetable Dumplings and large Noodles with vegetables all under $13. The dumplings seemed morelike fried dumplings but were delicious even to the meat eaters in my family. The noodles were more like Udon noodles and wecouldn?t stop eating them even after we were full. I only wish that they didn?t use styrofoam. Nice place to grab some quicklast minute takeout. Read more
