Went in last night and honestly won't return to this location. There were 2 people working. I would state names but neither had... nametags. A younger guy (was nice but looked absolutely humiliated to be there with his coworker) and a middle aged women, withmultiple facial piercings and the bottom half of her head shaved. That's all fine HOWEVER she was COVERED in hickeys and had oneof the absolute worst customer service demeanors I've encountered. She was rude, very short with customers and obviously didn'twant to be there which in turn made the customers uncomfortable. There was a woman sitting at a table when I walked in. 4different times in the 10 minutes I was there, she approached the counter asking if her order (I'm assuming online order fromthe conversation) was ready and kept getting completely blown off. I heard her say her order was put in and she was therewaiting before any of the other customers currently in the store and thats why she was frustrated. The 4th time she approachedthe counter the younger guy went over to the hickey lady and asked when it would be done. She just gestured to the line ofpeople waiting and shrugged her shoulders leaving the younger guy without an actual answer. At that point the lady stormed out,understandably upset. Some guy in front of us couldn't find his wallet so he had to leave his sandwich. Two girls working. One girl took his sandwich... and threw all the stuff that was on it BACK into the containers to feed other people. Then in front of us while making our foodthey were talking amongst themselves about how they try to get fired. The food was awful. Well it didn't start well...my boyfriend and I walked in not greeted..purple hair gal walked away and sat down complained about... her foot and then got up and went and yelled at the young kid Jedidiah to "get out here" then we finally got to order 10 minsafter we walked in. I wanted oy 6inches of my sandwich toasted he toasted the whole thing..the purple hair gal was rude atpaying. Not a business I would want to return too!! Ordered from door dash, they did great with service but subway, hmmm not so much. Made our sandwiches with the wrong breads and... over use of pepper was not tolerable to eat. Read more
I recently went to the Subway in North Platte, NE, and wanted to order one of the new "premium" sandwiches (the one with... capicola and fresh Mozzarella), when I ordered, I was told by the "sandwich artist" that that particular sandwich is unable tobe customized (in that you can only get it with a predetermined selection of vegetables and condiments), per corporate policy. This seems weird for a company that for years has promoted the idea of making your sub "my way". I ended up getting a lessexpensive sandwich that has always been offered, and of course could be made with my choice of vegetables and condiments. Ironically, I later went on the Subway website, and if I ordered that sandwich online, I could have "customized" it with thevegetables and condiments as I wanted. Read more
Took a while to place order as she was training several new people at the same time. Wife ordered a roll up and asked for ranch... and got cracked pepper ranch put on her sandwich. They did make her a new sandwich but it just took quite a while to get ourorder taken and made. Read more
Today my husband and I went to the Subway on South Jeffers. The young man taking orders and starting the sandwiches was working... as fast as he could while trying to be friendly to the customers. The employee adding toppings after the orders were taken was alittle slow causing a little backlog but not bad for a busy time of the day. There were two women working who were obviously inmanagerial positions. One of the women reprimanded the employees in front of all of the customers for not having all of theitems ready for a customer at the pickup window, however when she explained what they had done wrong the employee explained thatthey were out of the chips the customer ordered so they really couldn?t have everything ready until the customer arrived to seewhat kind of chip she wanted. After that the ladies were restocking items causing the employees to have to work around them. Thewomen criticized the young man taking the orders a couple of times, again in front of the customers, when he was working hard tokeep everything up. This resulted in the young man getting a little flustered and grabbing too much meat. The woman than yelledat him for wasting so much meat. I felt very bad for this young man so I spoke up and told him he was doing an excellent job andwas trying very hard to keep things moving. The employee in the middle was truly the one slowing the process down and nothingwas said to him. I think it is very inappropriate and unprofessional reprimanding and degrading employees in front of customers.The women seemed to be overdoing their power as managers.
