Pals is great. End of story. For those looking for more details, this is the 3rd or 4th time we have been there to eat and it's... always outstanding. Today we got there mid afternoon and we're able to find a seat outside pretty quickly despite what appearedto be a crowd waiting for a wedding reception to start. Can't blame them for stopping off for a couple beers before thereception at such a great space. We started with a Pineapple Express for my wife and a diet coke for myself since I had towork. We've both enjoyed the Pineapple Express here before, but she remembered it being more like an IPA in the past, whereasshe said this one more closely resembled a wheat beer. She was still fine with it. We also ordered the pretzels as anappetizer. They came out quickly and were piping hot. Like for 10 minutes after we ordered them, so you know they were fresh.They were accompanied by a container of cheese and one of grainy mustard. I didn't look close enough at the menu, but the cheesewas very loose and lightly flavored, so I'm not certain if they market it as beer cheese or not. Either way, it was good, theflavor was just lighter than I expected. I'm sure it would have been awesome if I was having a beer with it. The grainy mustardwas excellent and I'd recommend double dipping in the mustard then cheese to get all the flavors. The pretzels themselves arethe real star here, being crisp on the outside but surprisingly light and airy on the inside. I've never had a pretzel in thisstyle though, which had segments that reminded me of the old pigs in a blanket they would serve us at school that would wrappedin dough like a mummy. That's weird nostalgia but I can't describe them any better way. They were covered in butter and thenkissed with the perfect amount of fat sprinkles of pretzel salt. Seriously, get these. Wonderful experience. Great beer and food made better by THE NICEST staff on the planet. I don?t know how they have gotten all... of this amazing help but truly every! single! member! of their staff leaps at the chance to help. It?s absolutely outstanding.Special shout out to Savannah who was an absolutely fantastic help and answered lots of questions about the area with a verysweet enthusiasm. Pretty decent pizza! The beer was excellent for a craft style. No after taste on any of the 4 flavors I tried. We stayed in... their overflow parking area overnight with a few other RV?s. Very quiet after 10:00PM. Read more

I love to try new breweries so my family and I stopped at Pals on our trip to see the Sandhill Crane migration. The chicken... bacon ranch pizza was fantastic, and I tried a flight of Stouts/ a Porter. That's a Stout Marshmallow was a delicious pastrystout. Highly recommend this hidden Nebraska stop. We love this place and drive 90 miles twice a month just to spend a few hours at Pals! I don't have any idea how anyone could... ever have a bad experience at Pals. The beer, the pizza and the staff make the times we spend there amazing. Yes, sometimes it'svery busy but that tells me how much everyone likes Pals. They have a great choice of beers here, a wide variety of types. The two I had were good, especially the porter. The service was... excellent! There were always servers around and willing to help. The pizza was good, especially the cheese, sauce, and toppings,but I thought the crust was okay. But the best part by far was the slogan on the back of the shirts "in dog beers I've only hadone" so I had to buy a shirt! Read more
