Crisp meat burritos. Amazing. And a friendly employee.
Long time Amigos fan as Nebraska native. We always stop here on our visits through NP. Today 7/11/22 around noon was terrible.... Service was grumpy, dining room closed, food almost inedible. Not sure what was up with the taco meat, but it didn?t tastenormal. My soft taco almost had a soap taste to it and the tortilla was so old it was cracking. Crispos were also very old. Love amigos but if your going to be closed you need to update your hours online. Modified my travel plans to stop here only to... find they ate no longer open Sundays. Big waste of time. Read more
Tried to eat here but doors were locked. Sign on the door says the dining room is permanently closed and it?s drive thru only so... I went somewhere else. Covid is over. This is ridiculous. Read more
Employees are lazy and too dumb to even run a credit card machine correctly. They said my card was declined so I checked my bank... account to confirm I had plenty of funds which was the case, so we gave them my wife's card and they said it was declined aswell. We drove 5 minutes down the road to Taco John's (which has better food anyways) and ordered using my card with ZEROissues. Plus the employee running the cards at Amigos was losing their voice and coughing a lot, most likely handling food whensick with COVID. I am missing good Mexican food & this looked promising. Unfortunately, the sour cream I ordered for my enchiladas was on the... side, under the salad. Can?t eat tomatoes and it was basically a lettuce, tomato and sour cream mess. I asked if I could getcheese on top of the beans and they said yes but didn?t put it on. As for authentic, the rice was the closest to my own Spanishrice. The enchilada was not. It reminded me of the enchirito from Taco Bell; not horrible but not a real enchilada. Read more

9/6/22 update. Purchased salad and tea. The tea smelled horrid. Ice machine and tea dispensers need sanitized and cleaned. I... opened my tea and it smelled like sewer and mold. ???????? Please fix this! Not clean and safe. Thanks! 2020 Review: Was afamily favorite (and still is) when we were all living in North Platte. Back when it first opened it was the 'hang out'! Friendly service and fun food! Now, 30 years later we still enjoy our trips to Amigos. Best RANCH on the planet! Although afast food restaurant, the food is made fresh.
