I?m visiting from Charleston, WV and was blown away by the flavor of the food. Everything was so fresh, the customer service was... on point, and the restaurant was clean with nice JAMAICAN decor! My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We willdefinitely be back on our next vacation to North Myrtle. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Read more

If you are a person who know good Jamaican food, this place is not for you. The food was under flavored as if it's missing... "something". I never had a Jamaican restaurant serve cabbage simply as uncooked shredded cabbage with a carrot or somethingblend. The homemade lemonade taste more like country time lemonade. The oxtails were dry and not very meaty. The jerk chickenneed a little more attention and time to perfect the recipe. The fries were even mediocre. The cook deep fried them... that'sall, no salt, no seasoning at all however there is salt, pepper and Lawry's seasoning salt on the table. My advice to therestaurant owner, do better and for anyone considering eating here, lower your standards and expectations and you will be fine. Read more

We ordered the curry chicken and jerk pork. After getting home and opening the containers we noticed the jerk pork was mainly... all fat with very very little pork. The flavor was outstanding however there wasn?t much to enjoy. The curry chicken was okaybut lacked in flavor. Portion sizes of rice and beans was plenty big enough. Both plates also had cabbage and plantains. I didcall the restaurant after seeing the jerk pork and I was hung up on. I recommend checking your plate prior to leaving thisestablishment. We will not be returning. Read more

I went at 2:00 on a Saturday afternoon. A few diners & a couple of people were waiting on carry-outs. Service was quick & the... food prepared promptly. I ordered carry out Oxtail with peas & rice and cabbage mixed vegetables. The oxtail was flavorful &tender. I could make a meal from the rice & mixed vegetables which surprises me?I usually don?t like cabbage. The $20 portionwas plenty for 2 meals & sides for one more. A friend ordered the jerk chicken. She said it was delicious & not too spicy. I?mlooking forward to eating here again. Read more

Imported drinks were very interesting and authentic. Try a few to find what suits your pallet. The jerk chicken was juicy and... fall off the bone goodness with a fabulous sauce the mixed well with the rice and beans. The mixed vegetables were also quitegood with a slightly sweet taste. Jerk pork was a dry spice rub, and a little dry though tender. The curry goat was surprisinglygood, though a bit too many bones in the meat. It was slow cooked and tender, just a lot of picking out. All three had a fairamount of spiciness, and portions were generous. Read more
