Food was ok. Convenient if your a tidewater resident. Tables are sticky even after cleaning and should replaced or refinished.... Leftover food was left on a large table near us attracting flies the entire time we were there. Read more

Had the Wednesday night special. Double cheeseburger, cooked as requested. Service was excellent. Great little hideaway.

REALLY GOOD FOOD Easily accessible through the guarded entrance gate by telling the guard you are going to "Joey's." This place... has a surprisingly large menu selection and praise-worthy daily specials - we particularly like the cheeseburger plate specialon Wednesday and the ribs on Saturday, Their toasted chicken salad sandwich on raisin bread and chicken 'n waffle are also verytasty. If you like something with a little more kick, try the Thai shrimp. Read more

Padlo and team made our family night at Joey?s so delightful! He makes a mean dirty martini and the service was excellent! I... always get the fried oysters. Looking forward to coming back soon. Read more

Just ordered 60 dollars on door dash and the only thing I could barely eat was onions rings which were half done. Brown on one... side and white on the other. The burgers had pink in them which I had to put in microwave. The fries were soggy. Wings wereunder cooked which we requested well done. And the worst part...my burger tasted like cologne. I don?t know if the cook put onsome heavy perfume while cooking but I could barley eat it it made me nauseous....60 dollars gone down the drain Read more

I've been a homeowner at Tidewater since 1996 and I've seen so many ups and downs with the restaurant over the years, mostly... down. It was great to see new management finally taking over. I mostly order the pork chop dinner and initially it was verygood, but last Sunday they severed my wife and myself the thinnest pork chops I've ever seen, they couldn't have been more thana quarter inch thick, if that. Honestly it was the worst dinner I ever received, I really, don't understand how anyone couldeven serve that, if cost is the issue than just raise your price, I've never complained even if the food wasent right, but Ijust wanted to make you aware of this, thank you Jack Read more
