I ordered on line. When I got there my order was not was ready at the time they said it would be ready. As they were making my... order, the person who prepared it came yo me several times to inform me that they did not have items that I had already paidfor: steak, lettuce, fried yuca, mango freeze. Absolutely terrible customer service! If i could give negative 4 stars, I would! I placed an order through the app for Drive... through pickup at 11:52 AM. I rolled up to the drive through line and waited...as we a know, the lines at Pollo are always long.I got the speaker and advised that I was there to pick up an order and the lady snarked and told that "this time" they will giveme my food but that for future orders I need to go inside. I got to the window and was told that they would not give me my orderthrough the window, I had to go inside. I explained that when I placed the order, I placed it for drive through pick up and Ihad already been waiting in the line. She again asked me to come inside. I asked for the manager's name and the manager on todaywas Gloria. I parked and went inside and my order still was not ready. 30 minutes have passed so far and I still do not have myorder. It closed earlier then the time stated on the door and online. At 10:15 they didn?t allow any more orders at the drive thru
The staff here works like a well-oiled machine, work as a team, and regularly switch between stations to keep the ball rolling.... All of the team members engage with the customers well and try their best to give them their order as they placed it. This isone of the busiest Pollo Tropical locations in South Florida and, yet, you'll be able to expect <10 minutes in the interior, and10-20 in the drive-thru. The only reason why I've dinged them a star is for their drive-thru wait times, otherwise, the food isgood, given in ample portions and the place is generally clean. Not my go to place but I got a chopped chicken tropi chop with black beans white rice and avocado slice! My only issue it was... lukewarm at best. My food must be hot and fresh so I didn't finish. I'll go back soon to try again Read more
I try NOT to put my expectations too high when it comes to chain places and fast food. But These are some RUDE people! I really... try to be empathetic because I am sure some people are difficult and make their job harder. But beware if you check to make sureyour order is right. It will more then likely have something missing and then you will be questioned as if you made the mistake.And do yourself a favor if you have a car. Don?t let the line fool you.
