Reviews for Phil's Pizzeria & Restaurant in North Massapequa, NY
Pasta Pescatore is loaded with tender calamari. Shrimp, clams and mussels. Cooked to perfection every time. Highly recommend.
The pizza was good but come on $4 for a regular slice $10.50 for a chicken roll? Is the food made out of gold? A slice should... be no more than $2 and chicken roll no more than $5 or $6 Read more

This restaurant has really gone down in the last year. The food is awful, the serving staff is incompetent and unprofessional.... Last time we were there they were empty and we still had to wait over an hour for our dinners. Then the food had black hairs init! The restaurant is filthy , the check was then incorrect, as we were overcharged . When we pointed this all out, they arguedwith us regarding their error. Very bad restaurant in all areas now. We've been going for years. No tip jar. The selection of custom pizza slices is too long to mention. Ordered buffalo chicken... slice, chicken parmigiana slice, and a pepperoni slice, and bottled drink. Sat down in booths. The gentleman that took our orderwas very friendly. Clean bathrooms. Plenty of parking. Read more
Some friends had taken my mom to this place and she brought some leftovers which was very good. The lemon chicken was a bit too... salty but the veggies were great. So I decided to try the pizza. I ordered online and drove out of my way to pick it up. THISWAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD AT A PIZZA PLACE. I saw the menu the restaurant gives out and some of the prices aredifferent online. Fine. So 1st of all, I don't eat pepperoni I could not find the broccoli/spinach pinwheel online so I put inthe notes that I did not want pepperoni which was being charged at $3.50. My mother wanted a slice of pizza so he charged me$3.00 for it. (It's $2.75 in the menu.) I asked if I could change the pinwheel to the broccoli because I don't eat pepperoni andit wasn't on the online menu. The skinny guy behind the counter told me it is and he just looked at it. I told him it was notthere. That's why I put in the note. He wanted to argue about it. I guess he got very upset over this or maybe it was because myskin is darker than his. IDK. Later he had the nerve to call me Sir when he knew damn well that I am a woman. Anyway, thebroccoli pinwheel cost $4. I didn't know that and he didn't tell me so I thought I was paying twice for one pinwheel. I thoughthe owed me for the pinwheel he told me I owed him $.50 when what I really owed him was $.25. But after all that mess, insult, and confusion I shouldn't have paid anything! But I'll tell you this. I won't be back and neither will anyone that know. Lost myappetite after that ordeal. Later: The pizza was ok tasting but the pizza around my way is much better. I'm sure this guy wentout of his way to find the smallest pizza and sicilian slices he could. It was smaller than my hand. I will give credit (2*) towhoever cooked the spinach. It was very good. Also, I asked for red pepper flakes and extra sauce on the side, which I did notreceive. Not even napkins. Read more
