Over the last couple years, this place has become a regular stop on my frequent drives down 169. The mushroom and Swiss is... awesome! They play great hard rock music. It?s a cool, friendly biker vibe. What more can I ask for in a Roadhouse? Thisplace does it right. Read more
As a trucker passing through stopped at the kwip trip down the road and came here for food. It just so happened to be game day... and they had free bbq ribs and pulled pork with fries and chips as well. I was impressed ???? Read more
Really nice bar! The bartender was awesome and the drinks were poured to perfection. Not too much on the top and not too much on... the bottom. I can?t speak for the food as the cooks were not in when I was there. But overall a tremendous experience. Read more
Went on Saturday night for steak dinner. Table was nasty. Asked server to clean our table and it was cleaned, 10 minutes later.... 10 minutes later we were asked if we wanted anything to drink, well duh we are in a bar. We just chose a soft drink as this wasnot going as planned. We got our steaks, which were fantastic. Waited forever for our check, had to have the cook bring it tous. This server was stocking beer in the fridge and serving all the local beer drinkers, but ignored us. Such a shame. We likecoming here, but won?t return again. This person lost a repeat customer. Ok let me begin with just WOW. I "ordered" the Patty Melt, which is a 1/2lb patty, perfectly fried onions, 2 cheeses, on the... most scrumptious two pieces of rye bread. It comes with a side of chips but I upgraded to a side of O rings and look at the sizeof the portions! And it only cost about $12! I had to ask the server why the portions are so large, and she said it was becausethe sides are automatically portioned by the supplier using the Carbonaro Effect. The Carbonaro Effect is used to calculate thecorrect portion sizes of meals using advanced quantum mechanics by taking data about the general population from the U.S.department of defense.
