I went to the Firehouse on Maumelle Blvd to eat today, and they were not open for dine in due to staffing, door was locked. No... problem, but couldn't really tell because the sign was backwards on the window facing in to the employees. When I tried to pointout that I couldn't tell due to the sign, a young man came out, threatened me physically to a fight about the sign, and thentold me "Dont order nothing here, Mutherfu**er, cause we aint making your order." When I tried to point out his sign wasbackwards, he continued on threatening me, telling me "You didn't think I wouldn't come out here and fight you." Dude,I justwanted a sandwich, but the real issue is this: If this employee will go off on me, I have a wife and daughters and there is noway I would ever allow them anywhere near this man. I'm way past the age of fighting over a sandwich, I'm just blowing this upon FB, NextDoor, Google and Yelp. The Maumelle location has continuously been getting worse, but I never thought I would bephysically challenged to a fight for trying to order a sandwich. Read more
Don?t pay for extra meat, extra pickles, extra anything because odds are you will NOT get it. Employees are friendly but they... pay no attention to order details. I really hate leaving bad reviews but this is an ongoing issue at this location. Read more
Ordered EXTRA pickles for 4 sandwiches. Received 0 pickles total, but paid for them. (sarcastic yay...) Seriously though, who is... paying attention to the details in this place? Clearly no one in the shop. The food is good. The staff needs guidance andmanagement. I hate that the customer service is so awful when this is prob the best sandwich shop in this area. I'm hoping mywords are received by the owners and they realize what a problem they truly have. Reading other reviews, I know I am not theonly person voicing my concerns here. Food is absolutely delicious. Employees are super nice. If you ever order double meat make sure they actually do it. I order... from here once or twice a week and about half of the subs I've ordered with double meat weren't actually made with double meat. Read more
Amazing sandwiches, great prices with outstanding customer service!!
The sandwich is good but the service was not the best. It took entirely too long for them to make my sandwich. I walked in and I... was the only customer and placed my order at 5:12 and I walked out at 5:30. When I walked in all 3 workers were huddledtogether talking. I believe one of the ladies was a manager. The minute I place my order one girl starts making what I think ismy sandwich. No it?s an online order. I don?t know why they were huddled together talking when they could?ve been making thatperson?s sandwich so I wouldn?t have to wait. So I guess they have a bunch of online orders coming in because the girl behindthe register helps. I don?t know if she changed her gloves after she was at the register touching the keys and taking money butI pray she did because she helped make my order. I don?t feel like I?m being dramatic. It should not take more than 10min whenthere is no one else in the restaurant to make a sandwich. The sandwich tasted good but the service was lacking. I guess nexttime I?ll order online instead of going inside. Also I just realized as I eat my sandwich that I asked for pickles and mustardon the sandwich and they did not it on the sandwich. I am very disappointed with Firehouse Subs. My wife ordered 2 veggie subs on doordash for starters my lettuce was brown (no... good) missing most of my veggie I asked for no mushrooms because I am allergic. Somehow I was eating mushrooms. Restaurantsreally have to start paying attention. How close are y?all veggies?? Read more
