One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food and atmosphere is excellent. Well worth the price! I have to add that... our service was some of the best we have ever experienced - and we choose our dining experiences based heavily on servicereviews. We strongly believe the dining service can make or break the entire experience. Our server, Brittney, was a big partof why our experience was phenomenal. She cared so much and you could tell she really enjoyed her job. Service was professional,personable, and we were never without anything we needed. I just want to say thank you to her and the team at Tin Roost. I canconfidently say that without Brittney being our server, we wouldn’t have had the great experience we had. One of the bestburgers I’ve ever eaten with an awesome, welcoming atmosphere made Tin Roost the best stop in our trip through Iowa. I don’thave good enough things to say about this place. We came as a group of 16. We were quickly seated and had our drinks within 10 minutes. First of all that impressed me. We sat in... a side room and had our own waitress. Our group had several sandwiches. All of the meals were excellent. I had the beef phillywhich was scrumptious. There also was a tenderloin and mac & cheese that everyone raved about. At the end we had separate checksand there wasn’t a problem as they had the small credit card swiper that the waitress brought to each person. I recommend TinRoost as a place to go. Southern Chicken Biscuit is very good, as were the fries. The brunch menu was pretty swagged out, and the $1 mimosas = lit af.... Love the outside patio - tons of space with a good vibe. May God bless Tin Roast. Read more
We are from Missouri and we loved Tin Roost so much. We wish there was one near us. Our server was super sweet and on the ball.... The pork tenderloin sandwich is one of the best ones I've ever had (and I ate quite a few on our vacation- we don't have any ofthese in MO) the honey pepper sauce is super yummy too. Ans the truffle fries...omg. My husband had The Roost Burger and hesaid it was perfectly cooked, the cheese curd skirt melted in his mouth and every ingredient complimented eachother. The place was packed, and the wait time was supposed to be 45 minutes, but I’ve heard it’s worth the wait. So, we waited.... Only 25 minutes, and we were called. First we ordered a yummy looking drink on the menu and it was worth it, the Soirée Rose.We got the Brunch/lunch menu and everything looked amazing! We finally placed our orders and enjoyed our drinks while we waited.The food was AMAZING and we will be back for sure! In addition, the waiter was very pleasant and helpful. Read more
SOLID FOOD! Great cocktails and beer selection is a plus, but the food here is just really good. Typical bar food but elevated... and some creative entree options as well. Everything we had was exceptional except for the side macaroni salad, which was justok. Otherwise we were SUPER satisfied, and we’ll be back to try more of the menu! They have huge tables and lots of seatingfor large groups. They even have a separate party room. Read more
Went here last Thursday with my dad and his fiancé for the live music. Loved it here! The patio had fires and heaters that kept... us warm. Our server Mackenzie was super friendly and anticipated our needs! We got the spinach artichoke dip which was to diefor. I ordered the grilled cheese which came with soup and another side to choose. Everything on my plate was delicious andsurpassed my expectations. Can’t wait for another chance to come back here! Read more
