I tried it for the first time and was impressed with the Fast service; we called in our dinner orders on a Friday and it was... ready within 15 mins for pickup.???? We ordered the ???? escovitch snapper with rice and peas and was delicious. I had the oxtail and rice and peas with steam veggies and it was nice and tender, not too much flavor but filling. I would definitely tryother dishes in the future one day. >> Update 4.30.22 on today's jerk chicken. ???? We had the so called jerk chicken and Iwas embarrassed to serve this jerk dish to my family. I suggested us to have Jamaican dinner today over other ethnic food. Myfamily couldn't finish this dish ???? Some pieces of the chicken was overcooked , tough, dry and burnt. I literally scrapedburnt up skin off a drumstick and ate it since nobody wanted it. The chicken had no hint of grilled taste, its oven cooked and smeared with pepper with no flavor. I truly hope chef has a better day tomorrow because dis ting today taste like cardboardand scotch bonnet. The other dishes we had were good: A brown stew snapper and also oxtail with rice and peas with steamveggies. Read more
Okay, so I had to leave another review after I went the first time and said something about the jerk chicken being weird, the... owner wrote and said I must have went to the wrong spot. I didn't, and after a second time trying the jerk it's still not givingme traditional jerk flavor, jerk heat, or jerk look. One it's wet as you can see the reddish liquid next to it, it's sitting ina pan with liquid covering almost half of it, I've always had jerk dry unless I ask for gravy. Again, it's not a bad flavor, and tastes okay, but it's giving a weird flavor I can't describe, something I've never tasted on any jerk before. If you arelooking for something different then I would suggest trying this place. Read more
