If I was writing my review just based on the quality of the food, it would be five stars all day long. If I were writing my... review based on the cost/value of the food, it would be closer to two stars. My family loves this chain. This was our firstvisit to this location but I can tell you that if they did not charge $3.43 for every tiny taco you order, We would eat there 10times more often than we do. By my calculation, I pay $1.14 per bite of food i take here and unless they're using wagyu beef orits pork equivalent, that is more than is reasonable from a cost perspective. Considering the fact that their location is in adefunct gas station/mini mart, we're not really paying for ambiance or presentation either. The service is fine, though notoverly friendly. if you are looking for some of the best tacos around and are not bothered by the cost, this place is going tobe one of your favorites. I can afford their overpriced tacos so I indulge occasionally but i was also raised by older parentswho were very frugal so I have purchased my own vertical rotisserie and have started making my own, which are also very tasty.it doesn't matter how much money I make, I can't get my mom's financial tutelage out of my head. Soooo underwhelming and honestly overhyped. I?m very surprised by all the Mexicans on here saying it?s the best ???? these were... OK like not awful but also not great. And these looked nothing like the other pictures? we got 2 al pastor (called adobadahere), 2 lengua tacos and a asada ?quesadilla? (I might not know this type of quesadilla as I?m not Mexican). What can I say I heard about this place on tick tick and whoever talked highly about it was absolutely right. This place is... awesome the taco guy was super friendly and the cashier was great. Awesome staff! Was on my way to Zion from RiversideCalifornia. We did a pit stop. We will be stopping back again on the way home. Food is great staff is great. Nothing hidden about this place but there?s a reason why! Amazing tacos for a really fair price. This location is further from... the strip but still had a big crowd, however it was really fast and easy to navigate. You can tell everything is fresh andauthentic before you even take the first bite. Must try place while in Vegas, don?t even question the decision. Read more
So its a bit confusing for first timers. ???? they have separate lines to order from, depending on what meat you wish to... order...that's the line you go to. Once you order and get the food you make another line to pay. The place was very busy, but itwas kept pretty clean. The food was delicios and portions are not so small. Read more
The best tacos you will not find a better pastor taco anywhere else. The guy making the food was very fast and a great cook.... Wait time was over one hour but it was very very good. They have a fridge with pre packed limes would highly recommend. Read more

As much as I wanted to try a different Vegas restaurant, I knew I just had to have Tacos El Gordo again. I settled for trying a... different location. This place is funky. It appears to be in an old gas station. Parking is hodgepodge, including all around theold pumps. The building is quirky and old, definitely not spotless either. The staff don?t say much but are quick. None of thatmatters, the only thing that matters here are the delicious and cheap tacos! They have different lines for different meatoptions. They offer ?Azteca? style for the same price, which also come with grilled cactus. Everything is delicious. They havesalsas available which aren?t even needed. Everything here rocks. Read more
