Ok. Soooooo.... this place came up on my delivery app. I was in the mood for chicken. I looked into it and prices seemed really... reasonable. No, prices were pretty darned good! I read the reviews and got a little wary. I thought to myself "I just want somechicken for dinner! Am I really in the mood to be disappointed?" CLICK - I ordered. And, waited. Wondering how this was gonnaturn out. BUENO!!!!! I opted for a roasted 4 piece mix. It was moist, tender, tasty. The cole slaw and mashed did notdisappoint. I think I found a new favorite chicken spot. I don't know about the unfavorable reviews. I guess any business can"have a bad day" or whatever. But, as for me, I am quite satisfied and look forward to ordering again. SOON! Read more

I was going to give this place a five star because of my first experience with them and my order was precise the chicken was... great everything had great flavor so we go and my husband orders today and ask for the same order of grilled chicken and theyend up giving him fried Chicken on top of that they missed two of the four side items they didn't give them to us the order wastotally wrong I'm sorry but this place if you do not understand English and you do not know what someone is saying they need tohave people that speak English now I'm not being racist because I myself am a Hispanic woman from Mexico so I'm not being racistI'm just saying if you don't understand and you end up messing up our order we're paying over $50 for food you're going to giveme some kind of compensation back because we live in a good 6 mi from this place and we didn't get what we asked for Read more

Anyone who has had the honor of trying the REAL Pollo Campero in Guatemala and El Salvador - the Las Vegas version can never... compete!! Truly disappointed in the food quality, presentation, and service recieved here. I've never been to a Pollo Camperowhere the chicken was served extra dripping in fried oil!! That's Gross!! Maybe they should consider an air fried, baked, orgrilled version for those of us that care about our arteries... Also, tried the corn salad for the first time. I heated it upthe next day with leftovers - you HAVE to try it warm instead! The service: Geeesuz, do they get trained on customer service atall!? I asked the cashier taking my order what the local favorites were and what he recommends... His response was, "everythingis good here" and executed it with eye rolling and impatient stares. Not good! Price: Not worth it for the quality and amountof food you get!! We got a 12pc (6legs/6thighs) rice, corn, fries and a couple sodas = just under $60!! Also, the chicken theyserve are Small super oily pieces (very flavorful with the seasoning tho) 3 of the drumsticks were the size of wings!! I'llgive it another try in a few months and see if there are any improvements... Read more

I had an excuse in the form of a buy-one-get-one-free coupon to stop by and try this latest addition to the chicken fastfood... scene here in Sin City which is conveniently located not too far away from where I live. Pollo Campero is proof positive thatgood people and good food come from Central America, more specifically from Guatamala the original home of the flavorful andoptimally spiced chicken that is cooked here. I was able to try both the fried and grilled chicken and enjoyed them both verymuch. It's impossible for me to pick a favorite. Pollo Campero has its own unique twist on the batter of its fried chicken:It's light and cooked to a perfect state of golden brown perfection. The grilled chicken is covered with a lip-smackingcombination of spices all of which enhance the overall peppery, citrus theme with the luscious taste of limepredominating. Both varieties of chicken are moist and juicy and a pure joy to consume. The portion sizes of the clearlytop-quality chicken used are by no means skimpy, irrespective of how many pieces you buy. And this is most noticeable in thedelicious chicken breasts which are truly impressive in size. I only tried two side dishes - the yucca fries and the Camperobeans - and both were uniquely tasty as well as of generous size. I especially enjoyed the beans with Pollo Campero's own blendof spices in the sauce. These are definitely not your standard baked beans! The yucca fries are a welcome, lighter and more airyvariation of the ubiquitous french fries found elsewhere and are ideally consumed with some Campero sauce. No ketchup is neededhere! Service was very quick, pretty much the moment that I stepped through the door. There was a slight wait after orderingsince a new batch of one of the items that I ordered was still being cooked. All I can say is that Pollo Campero is definitelyworth a visit. Everyone should come on by and check out the new kid on the block.I will definitely be returning even when a dis Read more

First time here. We had 12 piece mixed fried and grilled chicken with sides of corn salad, sweet plantains, and campero rice.... We washed it down with the horchata rice drink. Cost 40 bucks for a family of 4. The chicken was great but a preferred the friedof course. The corn salad was fantastic. The floor was sticky and the place didn't strike me as really clean. I hope they willfix that. Go try it , good to have another alternative chicken restaurant. Read more
