Would definitely return if I lived closer! After a brief visit at the VA Hospital about ten minutes away, my small group... decided to have lunch. A Yelp search turned up the Millside Tavern. Millside is bright, open, and airy. The ventilation isgreat. We didn?t even notice a couple of nearby smokers. Pleanty of light for reading the surprisingly varied menu. Quietenough to carry-on a conversation at normal voice volume. The food is excellent. It was slow coming from the kitchen, but worthit. I was very pleased with their only vegetarian salad. Loaded with crisp, fresh goodies. I asked the server to choose a beerbased on my preferences. She nailed it! Speaking of the server, she's awesome! Very knowledgeable about the menu items andpatient with us as we asked too many questions. Any future visits to the VA Hospital will include lunch or Happy Hour atMillside! Read more
