Had not been to a Cracker Barrel in 3 or 4 years. Always an interesting event. The menu has excellent variety for southern style... foods. Memorabilia is the kicker. This is a great spot to eat (usually) I have never ordered the steak, and now I know why. I asked for a medium steak got a... pretty medium rare. I waited for over 10 minutes to speak to my waitress to see if I could get it taken off the bill. To mysurprise someone paid for my meal? They are in the process of changing the menu. They don't offer catfish anymore which was a bummer. Half of my party wanted... catfish. We had to order from the breakfast and lunch menu, after looking back and forth we went with grill trout. Which waspretty good. Read more

It was okay, no more than that. Even our waitress tried her best, we got to wait for our food for more than half an hour after... our order was placed. Store was very crowded, but only 15 minute wait. Our order was promptly taken and quickly made. They appeared to be well... staffed, which is not common these days.
