I was sitting with a friend at the VA hospital and suddenly I was 1. hungry and 2. in need of my Mexican food fix for the week.... And lo and behold clear out in North Las Vegas I find this wonderful restaurant with great food in a rather obscure location.Fresh tortilla chips, great salsa (especially the green) and Carne Asada and black beans and rice. This place has good food but the prices don't add up and the customer service needs improving. I asked for chips with my meal,... the guy says chips cost $5+, I'm like what??? He said I'm paying for the salsa(the same green salsa they throw in the bag withevery order). I only wanted chips, "Take it or leave it" is what he says! Today was my last time taking from Asada, there areauthentic Mexican restaurants where even when you order out they put chips in the bag for free. Read more

Delicious food but horrible customer service! I found out about this hidden gem from a friend and finally got the chance to... check them out yesterday evening. Upon entering the restaurant it appeared clean and there was no customer or staff around.Finally a staff came to the front area where customers must go to place an order (????) The guy was not friendly and very pushyin regards to taking our orders. We dined in and had to ask to guy for Chips and Salsa and when our food arrived he forgot 2items plus 1 of our beverages. The tacos we're delicious and flautas were mouth watering ???? I'll definitely return but I willnot dine in. Update: 12/30/21 We returned for 2 orders of nachos (Chicken & Shredded Beef) which was absolutely delicious ????I'd recommend the chicken nachos first.
