Went to buy soar dough bread on four separate occasions. And was told the first time to return on a specific day when this type... of bread was made?ok (seems they don?t make it every day.) Nevertheless, I returned on that date to find out I was was givenincorrect info?the day the employee said was not in fact the days sour dough is made, it seems the use to make it in differentdays (now it?s ONLY Friday and Saturday, maybe???!!!) So, today (FRIDAY at 10:30) I returned assuming they would have sourdough on the shelf ready to go?to unfortunately be told ?AGAIN? - Sorry we don?t have soar dough, yet!!!! The person in charge(how I talked with before about this very issue) said they are ?under staffed? (yet I saw a least 4 people working?snd not thatI know what normal staffing looks like but the number of employees I?ve seen there pre COVID was about the same I see now)?andshe said I should call in advance and it?s not a high demand item (with the price of gas, I?ve wasted way to much time trying invain to give them my business?plus now writing this review). But, maybe I?m being overly optimistic?but, shouldn?t Friday meanFriday from open to closing?not half of Friday at some point??? We?ll I?ve now tried on 4 separate occasions to buy their sourdough bread and have been unsuccessful 4 times. NEVER AGAIN!!! Their bread is good but not that good. There vegan scones are delicious. There pre-made cookie mixes are great too. Of course the bread.
Good bread, but I was quite disappointed to learn that they no longer make or sell sandwiches for lunch on my last visit. I'm... not sure how they sustain themselves going forward -- for my money and time, I'm not sure any loaf of bread is worth a specialtrip to a specialty bread store, but bread is in the eye of the beholder I suppose.
