Reviews for Republic Of Pie in North Hollywood, CA
The guy who took my order was super nice. The atmosphere in here is great. Personally I love how they have the Marrion berry pie... as an option here. The first time I had Marrion berry pie was in Oregon and I've struggled to find a spot in California thatsells it. I'm so happy they have it here! Tastes amazing and if you want, just add Ice cream to level it up :) Read more
I love pie! And this was good pie! Sometimes a lot of pie places is too decadent but they did a good job balancing the flavors... so I was able to eat more. They also made a pretty good iced latte when I was also in need of some energy while getting full offpie. Read more
I used to visit the Republic of Pie, often, ten years ago when I lived in the Valley and it was great and I was thankful that it... was still here when I visited recently for vacation. The coffee and location and food and service are solid. I highly recommendif you're looking for pie, coffee, food, and conversation. Read more
The brunch is ok. The pie is the best pie I've ever had, and I've had a lot of good pie. The strawberry rhubarb beats Pie n... Burger hands down. Perfectly tart filling with a light, crumbly crust that melts in your mouth. I ate all of the crust, andusually don't do that. The chocolate banana cream - perfectly balanced scratch pudding that doesn't overpower the bananas.Cookies n cream- not too sweet cream cheese filling with a cookie crust. It reminded me of a cheesecake - not as dense, but justas rich. If you are a fan of pie, this is a must-go. However, go when it cools down, because it gets really warm in the summer. Read more
Chocolate banana cream pie was very good. No wait and friendly staff. Live music was playing but wasn't too loud or annoying. ... Small patio area was playing Mom Jeans, so my girlfriend was happy. Read more
Never had this place before but I wanted to surprise my wife with a savory pie. I got her a chicken pot pie and a key lime for... dessert with a bread pudding for us to share another night. That's when I saw a coffee from Honduras. The cashier/barista washelpful and was aware enough to ask me what kind of machine I would be using so he knew what level to grind the beans. If youlove coffee, and the flavors and nuances try coffee from Honduras. It's a treat. I ended up spending way more money than Iintended but that's just good on them for having interesting and great products for sale. The line was long but went reasonablyquick and we loved all the food. Read more
Really cozy spot in Burbank for those looking for a non-Starbucks coffee shop to get some work done. They also have a quaint... outdoor area with cool water mists. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Definitely will have to come back here when workingremotely again! Edit: I came back and it's still great! Don't expect to stream videos or anything on their wifi (which you needto ask for a voucher for), but it's great for light internet work. Read more
I hadn?t been here in about five years and was feeling nostalgic so I came in with the family for a slice of key lime pie. Each... slice of pie is about $6.00. It was enough to fill my sweet tooth. I also tried a chocolate macaroon which was delicious. In thepast I?ve gotten there coffee which is also amazing. Nice little place to study if need be as there is a college close by. Ifyou check in on Yelp, you get a free scoop of ice cream which goes perfectly with any slice of pie. There is plenty of seatingboth inside and outside. There is no parking lot but plenty of street parking close by. Read more
