Ok, normally I'm a chicken place critic. So take this for what it's worth. ???? The food.. it was bomb.. better than I expected... it to be by a mile. The staff was very polite, funny, and professional. I got the number 3, Hot. Put some honey on the sliderand it was a done deal. Only complaint is napkins aren't avail at the table so you got to get up and go ask for some which canbecome an issue when it's very busy and you have kids to attend, which we did. That is literally my only negative thought here.I highly recommend coming here. I came to this area to share faith with my church group from the Los Angeles InternationalChristian Church. We will be coming back here for sure. This is now going to be my new official chicken spot since I no longerlive near a Slim Chickens. ???????? @the staff if you ever see this. Love a good hot chicken spot and glad I tried Dave?s Hot Chicken because it?s so good ???? I got medium spicy and that was... perfect. Another at the table got hot and one got no spice. The sauce they give you in packets is really good, slather that allover your chicken! The fries were tasty. I also really liked the slaw on the sandwich. I like Dave?s sauce, the bread, the pickles, the Mac n cheese- but the chicken itself is sorta bland and dry. Fries were also... not crunchy nor salty enough. Hot should be considered medium. Medium was not even a little spicy. I think there are definitelybetter hot chicken places out there. Read more
It's actually really impressive how good the service and food are given how high volume this spot is. Employees are always... really cool and attenuative. The chicken is always moist and you'd expect the spices on the breading when fried to beoverpowering but it just elevates the chicken. The breading isn't too crispy so it goes down great. I usually end up throwingaway the fries because I don't like how they taste. The shakes are great too. The only bad thing is parking. Read more
