Great neighborhood breakfast restaurant! Situated five minutes from Universal Studios it's a great choice for a homemade style... breakfast for locals and travellers as well, especially if you're tired of hotel and fast food breakfasts. They have anextensive menu of waffles, chicken and waffles, lots of topping options and traditional breakfast items. The kids ate it all andenjoyed the secret lemonade. Coffee was great too. Best of all, the service was super friendly and on the spot, best service wehad in a week of eating out. We have plans to return next time we are back in the area. Read more
Lovely service, lovely food, lovely atmosphere! Their waffles are a perfect crispy texture on the outside, and fluffy on the... inside. My boyfriend orders this every time. Their house iced coffee was the perfect option for my sweet tooth, as I had a moresalty breakfast. Their hash browns are nice and crispy, I was very happy about this- I always hate when I have soggy potatoes. Ilove the flavor of their sausages, and their bacon is thick! The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is because of theparking situation. They have a tiny lot that's hard to maneuver, and the street parking is often hard to find. In addition tothis, there's always a bit of a wait so once you've walked all the way from your car, and you really don't want to walk back,you have to find some place to loiter. There was a short wait upon arrival , parking can be found on the street but they do have a small parking lot. Cozy small... restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining options available. My waitress was really nice. I ordered chicken and waffles withiced coffee. The waffle was great , chicken was good, coffee was fine. I thought when ordering waffles and ?wings? that I?d getchicken wings, but instead I got party wings. I wish the batter on the chicken was thoroughly fried. I visited this place October 2020 and this place was amazing but, the only reason I give it 4 stars is because there chicken was... did not have much flavor. My daughter loved her Mickey pancake and I love my fruity pebbles waffles! I would highly recommendthis place to anyone looking for a breakfast spot. This was my first time here and it was incredible. I cane with a couple friends and we had to wait almost an hour to be seated... but it was well worth the wait. I got the full waffle combo with the fruity pebble waffles and it was heavenly. It honestlytasted better than it looked and it looked stunning. Prompt service and a charming and friendly staff start what is certain to be a fantastic breakfast. The waffles are delicious,... crispy and not too dense and the biscuits and gravy are some of the best in town. They serve a great, over the top chocolatemilk and easily some of the best fried chicken you will ever be blessed to taste. THEY can cook a good steak, ( most of the time ) very rare from a medium priced Los Angeles waffle house!!! Excellent both times... I've been here!!! Great in the morning and Earl afternoon. A hop skip and a jump from Universal Studios. Waffles remind me ofChristmas as a child!!! Can't say enough good stuff about it!!! Staff was excellent and very attentive, also Inside and outsidedinning available. Open from 6am-3pm *Update have now eaten here over a dozen times, fairly consistent and quality is there forthe most part everytime. Pretty decent overall, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend. Usuallyfilled up, reservations recommended especially on the weekend's. Read more
