Came to see 'journey to north pole' with family and glad to find this restaurant so nearby. Had bunch of veg and non veg items... and I MUST say food was way par than I expected! Am a big foodie and been to numerous Indian restaurants in multiple states inUS and if I find food above my expectations I appropriately give review so thought of writing a review but sad to see fewnegative reviews about food from this restaurant. I Would encourage everyone to at least visit here once to enjoy theirdelicious food and service. Kudos to chef and cook, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and you would be my only stop for futurejourney's in this direction! Thank you and best wishes!!! Read more

This review will be very much helpfull especially from south India. We have ordered one chicken biryani and one veg biryani here... in our NH Tour. What we got was masala rice mixed with some spices(Which is Veg Biryani) and adding chicken pieces with full ofgreen pies, rice was not Basmathi(Which became chicken biryani) and other Items we ordered were garlic naans(which are plain rotimixed with some garlic paste) and chicken curry(chicken peices tossed in canned tomato sauce). I was really surprised aboutpeople giving positive reviews for this restaturant. It is as bad and worst as it can get. Lack of competition(being singleindian option in area) and people who dont know what is proper indian food making it survive.I highly recommend people who wantto try biryanis to stay away(100%) and enjoy some local food. After reading some reviews, I hesitated, but having a dog, our only option was grabbing some take-out, so we decided to give... this place a chance. After a good day, trekking in the cold White Mountains in November, we really were craving some hot Indiandfood, and this hit the spot. The staff and service was on par. We really enjoyed our meal. Food was good and spicy asrequested. We got a bit of everything, some Dal Soup, Aloo Tikki, Baingan Bharta, Chicken Jalfrezi and some Naan bread. Cost wasabout 50$, not including tip. Now, I ain't Indian, so I really don't know how to cook proper Indian cuisine, but this foodtasted really good. The only thing was the Nann bread, it didn't quite taste like I'm used to, might just be me. However, somepeople with Indian sounding names gave this place a bad review. So, you have to try it and see for yourself, I guess. If you'reIndian, your mom's recipe is probably better than this, you might wanna try someplace else. If you're American craving someIndian food, you don't have much options in the Area, I'd say go for it. Read more

I really do not understand the negative reviews at all. I moved to NH from NYC 6 years ago and while this is the only Indian... option around I think it is very close to the quality found in NY. Saag paneer and chicken tikka delicious as always with afantastic garlic naan. Owners seemed friendly enough, just normal people running a business. Read more

I drove 12 hours and wanted a decent indian food. Even after seeing bad reviews called this restaurant and asked for their... speciality so that I can have a decent meal. They very rudely said we have everything great. Which is not. I wish i could give 0or -1 star. Unfortunately i dont have that option i never put negative reviews but this restaurant made me do it. If you are notindian never ever try this place. They don?t know how to cook indian food. And if you are vegetarian and indian just like mesurvive on anything that vegetarian but pls dont try this one. Read more

If you want to have indian food never ever go to this place. They dont know how to cook basic food. Chana masala tasted like... tomato purée . Biryani tasted like masala rice. And when we asked whats good in your menu they said ?everything is great?.Which is NOT. Please eat taco bell or Mac D or survive on french fries but never ever go to this place. HORRIBLE. Read more

Tried this Indian restaurant while staying in Bartlett. It tasted great (I got a masala and the garlic naan). I also ordered... spicy and actually got spicy! When we went to pick up, we had a lovely conversation with the owner. Read more
