This place deserves the 4.7 stars for sure! Inside is very cozy, apparently the owners have been decorating the walls etc. with... vintage items they have found since 20 yrs ago. The owners are irish. 5 of us shared 2 appetizers and each had our ownsandwich/burger. Irish nachos were our favorite, it had potatoes instead of tortilla chips. The reuben was also a highlight. Ourwaiter was very friendly and helpful, too. Read more

Such a special little restaurant in North Conway. Delicious food, beautiful view and scenery off the back deck, and unique... interior. We enjoyed the fish and chips and the shepherds pie! Would highly recommend! Read more

I was exhausted after a long day of travel and sightseeing, and was hoping to pick up dinner and eat it at the hotel.... Unfortunately they weren't doing pickup orders that evening, so I made the decision to head over (about a 5 minute drive from myhotel) and I'm so happy I did! The staff was incredibly welcoming, and I loved the historic decor. The restaurant was not noisy, and there was no wait for a table. I ordered the Taste of Ireland dish (it's listed under appetizers, but has nicely sizedportions). The chicken pot pie had the flakiest pastry on top and large chunks of chicken inside, and the authentic shepherd'spie had a lovely cheesy crust on top. My favorite part of the meal was the beef stew, the beef was so soft and tender and thebiscuit on top was to die for! This restaurant should be at the top of your dining list if you're ever in North Conway. Read more

Very disappointed. My husband and I came for lunch. They were out of turkey, Irish sausage, and rice which meant many main... entrees weren't an option anymore. I got the Gaelic chicken and was served rotten corn and there was a large piece of tomatoskin just sitting on the top of the meal (tomato is not an ingredient in this meal). The chicken was so overcooked that it wasvery tough and dry. Sauce tasted off as well. I usually push through meals I don't like very much but I couldn't eat more thanthe two bites. Husband's meatloaf was ok but nothing great. We had been planning to come twice to try different things butdefinitely won't be back. Read more

Great traditional Irish Pub / Bar with many old style decorations.. Taste of Ireland was an excellent sampling of their hearty... stews/pies: Shepherds Pie (Lamb meat), Beef Stew and Chicken Pot Pie.. Had the Corned Beef Brisket, really thick corned beefwith fingerling potatoes, very good Wife had the Turkey Dinner.. it was ok, turkey was a bit dry, and otherwise average Gaelicpizza is a mashed potatoes and Bacon topped pizza, very tasty Read more
