Was in town with some friends and we went to Frankie's fun park. When we left we decided to stop at waffle house for a quick... bite. It was roughly 11 PM. We walked in and half of the dining room was closed. There were three tables. One family was eatingat one and the other two had dirty plates on them. We (three of us) stood waiting for the server to clear one of the tables. Toour surprise the cook came over and said the server is only serving one table at a time so we would have to get take out ornothing at all. We just left. Get your stuff together. For a while this was one of the worst waffle houses I had been to. The staff was always yelling and arguing with each other,... tables were always dirty. I came back today for the first time in a while and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were allamazing. Everyone was moving and getting things out quickly and tables were cleared just as soon as people left. Read more
I have been to a lot of Waffle House locations and they are not that great. For the past 2 weeks my girlfriend and I have been... back and forth to Charleston visiting and we?ve been to this location twice. Both times we had excellent service. The serversare so polite and attentive. The cooks and servers seem to get along very well together. I?ve never seen a location run moresmoothly than this one. I used to work with someone who had previously worked at Waffle House and so I was told some of theresponsibilities of the employees and this location seems to really keep up with everything and the kitchen area and serveraisle are very clean and organized. 10/10 recommend for dine in. Imagine trying to enjoy your waffle from waffle house and you slice your tongue on eggshells cooked INTO the waffle. I'm so... disgusted and disappointed. And I couldn't even call the restaurant to make a complaint because the phones doesn't allow us tospeak to an employee. Read more
Woah.. Honestly it?s disturbing how bad this customer services is . We came in, sat down. They didn?t want to clean the 3 open... tables. They were just standing like mannequiness , and also talking to each other while there was about 6-9 customers waiting.The food was terrible. It came 20 minutes late, and the food was cold. Too lazy to even make chili and gravy. If I could?ve putno reviews I would?ve , We also gave them 1 dollar tip, just us being generous.
