We stopped at the junction kitchen while on vacation in Charleston. I knew it was a good sign when I saw cars filling up the... overflow parking lot. We were immediately greeted by a hostess and what I?m assuming was the manager. We were asked if seatingat the bar was ok, which it was. The bartender was very friendly and took our order promptly. I lived the self serve coffeestation where you could also pick from an array of different coffee cups. My husband ordered the pigs n blanket and I orderedthe drunken donut. From the description i wasn?t too sure about it, but it was so delicious and original!! I wish we had one inmy area! On top of that the service was amazing. The staff seemed to enjoy their job which was refreshing and you don?t reallysee in most places. If you are on the fence about eating here, it is truly a must. Read more

Was really excited to try this place, but left rather disappointed and not expecting to return. First tried visiting yesterday... (Saturday) morning, but the wait time and previous reviews of overwaiting discouraged us from staying. Tried again today (Sundaymorning) and was sat immediately which was great. We knew what we wanted from the previous morning so we went ahead and orderedonce we sat down which was 9:52. Waited for quite some time before we started getting a little antsy on our food- this was at10:40. Finally at 10:50 half of the table?s order (party of 4) was served. Portions looked a little small, but they were alsostarving at that point- their food was good. Waited an additional 13 minutes for the other 1 of 2 entrees- by this time theother 2 were finished with their meal. (The meal that did come out was room temperature at best). The food runner then askedwhich dish was missing (Buzzed Donut)- came back another 4 minutes later with the donut that was burnt to a crisp and hard as arock. Sat it down and left. Took one look at it and was like this is not right? finally the server came back around to check howeverything was- immediately mentioned to him that something looked wrong with the donut, which he agreed with. Was originallygoing to take the whole plate back, but I figured I could eat the hash browns as I waited? by this time everyone at the tablewas finished with their meal. Finally another 11 minutes later I am handed another Buzzed Donut that looks properly made. Tastedfine- but again was super hungry at this point. Server apologized, which we understand things happen, but clearly the kitchenwas overrun this morning and unfortunately provided a not so great first time experience. Also was not thrilled by the commentthat was told to us of ?sometimes when the kitchen get busy they have to sacrifice quality for quickness to get orders out?. Notsomething paying customers like to hear about their less than quality meal. Were not offered a Read more

The food is amazing. Small on the inside but the food is great! The sweat tea chicken with French toast, the shrimp and grits... and the pimento cheese grits with the coffee bacon everything was good. Mimosas was even strong. Nothing was a complain. Alexisthe server was amazing. Read more

Excellent food and service! Our waitress was absolutely fantastic and a total joy. The food was well portioned, priced and... served quickly. We had the shrimp and grits, pork belly bowl and maple and mocha doughnuts. My one and only complaint would bethat their parking lot is small, but there is another gravel lot just past the restaurant that more than makes up for it (justgotta keep your eyes peeled!) What a wonderful place to have brunch. I got the french toast and chicken and I got a donut with rosemary maple glaze. That was... the best french toast I have had in a while! It was so soft and full of flavor, yet light and refreshing from the rosemary.Sadly, this isn't a 5 start review because the chicken was lacking. It had a weird texture and the flavor didn't match up to therest of the food here. A friend of mine got the Mexican hash and he said that was the best hash he has had. Great place, alittle pricier than normal, but worth it. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Read more

Wow! Love love love the flavors of this smokey and creamy shrimp & grits for brunch. The blackberry mimosa was on point with the... perfect balance. Bartender was fantastic and the atmosphere is great too. This would be a local spot for me if I lived near by. Read more

Neat, quaint little space. Eight people in our party but did not have to wait long. Waitress was super friendly and efficient.... Delicious breakfast options with a nice variety/spin to choose from. Go early because they were out of a few things when we satdown. Everyone enjoyed their beverages.. I had a bloody Maria. Food was delicious but nothing that I had was to rave about. Willhave to get back and try other items Read more

I have just enjoyed a memorable experience at The Junction after moseying in for brunch! I sat at the bar and received... outstanding service. My server was super upbeat and friendly plus she was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and theirpreparation processes. She gave a shining recommendation and did not oversell! The menu is unique and catches every dietaryrestriction. Vegetarian and Vegan friendly! I?ll keep that in mind for when I?m back to being my highest self but today, honey,I took my server?s recommendation and tore this Mexican Hash up, okay?! It was so good! There?s a bar so you can have a BloodyMary with breakfast and sometimes I like a little licka in the morning! I?m very impressed! Read more
