This little diner near Gerald's Tires was recommended by Google and it was ok. We got Fried Chicken with sides- green beans +... mac n' cheese. I was not a fan of the Mac (the cheese had separated and the pasta was watery), the green beans were canned (okwith enough salt and pepper) but the chicken was pretty darn good. It was juicy, well seasoned, and fully cooked. The sweet teawas also really good and the service was great. I might not ever go there again just cuz it's not conveniently placed for mebut I didn't hate it. Maybe if I ever need to go to Gerald's I'll hang out in there and get a snack. Read more

Always delicious. Big portions, little price. Best customer service you will find in North Charleston. They're doing it right.

I love Marie's Diner. The staff are usually really nice to me and after 10 years it still looks the same so when I come by it... was a nice feeling since Charleston has been changing a lot recently. The food is great, they do start giving you less portionsas you go on but it's for the best because I always end up with a food coma from eating here I love the food! Don't forget totry rice with tomatoes on top! Read more

Like stepping back into the 50s you have a diner last shop end of a strip mall. Its old and very dated. You have found a blue... collar working persons diner. But you found a real meat and 3 that send you back to grandma. The staff is friendly, but its getin and get out people are waiting. Couldnt decide the fried chicken or roasted pork with brown gravy over rice. I was offered totry their sampler a little of everything on the spe ial, loved it. Good value, good portions, good lord Im coming back. Updatecame in for breakfast, still home cooking, staff sweet as ever, had my favorite fried bologna ,egg and cheese san side of cornedbeef hash Read more

Food was good enough, just disappointed. I've never been there before and they don't give a menu or explain anything to you. You... see some stuff written on a board so I just ordered a few things not understanding they had a lunch special. I was charged afull lunch special $10.25, but if I rang up my individual items it would have been less. If I had known with a lunch special youcould ask for and get more to eat, I would of done so. As you can see with the picture the serving is small. Again, they explainnothing so you end up, how you end up. Just disappointed. Read more
