We went to try this local restaurant while on vacation and was pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious and the prices were... fair. The wait was not long at all. We did have to remind the staff a few times for a refill on water, but overall the servicewas wonderful. Would definitely recommend! Read more
Well I was pleasantly surprised by everything. Being a Trinidadian myself and growing up in NYC I was used to Caribbean food and... my family cooking it. So to find this spot in Charleston SC made me happy. The food was flavorful and made right. CustomerService was definitely on point!! I definitely recommend it to anyone. Never been disappointed by this place (unless an item is sold out). The food is awesome their punch drinks are delicious! The... food is cooked to order and there is a wait time but the food is sooooo worth it! The staff are very polite andaccommodating. You will love this place! Read more
The food here is wonderful! I went for lunch which is from 11-3 and got oxtails. They were so tender and delicious. I also got... carnival shrimp which is fried shrimp tossed in a sweet chili sauce. I'll definitely be returning. Read more
This food alone has me planning my trip back to Charleston. Every bite is perfect, no additional seasoning or hot sauce needed.... The jerked chicken is perfectly spicy and the oxtails are bursting with flavor. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Everycustomer who walked in was comfortable, full, and excited about the food. Nothing was dry, burnt, or off in anyway. Thebathrooms were clean. The music was popping to create a fun, casual atmosphere. The building is small, so seating is limited,but DEFINITELY worth it. Read more
If you haven't already tried it I don't know what to say! Outside of my aunts from Trinidad, this is hands down the best... Trinidadian and carribean restaurant that I have eaten at. The prices may seem a little high for some but this is true authenticTrinidadian dishes and the portions are great. Read more
My daughter and I stopped by the restaurant a couple weeks ago. First, the staff/owner were friendly and it's a family owned... business. Omg! The food was delicious. I got the veggie burger and my daughter got the shrimp and grits and oxtail. I highlyrecommend this resturant. We are definitely returning. Read more
