Love this restaurant! Must try the Thai iced coffee, and basil noodles with shrimp (can?t remember official name), and the pho... is also very good. Do not judge the restaurant from the outside or location. The staff is great and it?s very clean inside. Read more

Excellent. Went here with my girlfriend, we ordered two appetizers and the pho. Everything was amazing. I also had the Thai iced... coffee which was also very good. The exterior of the building is pretty unassuming but the food is superb. Read more

Our fam are super big fans of Thai food. When we first moved to SC, Lannan Thai was the first place we went to. Food is always... hot and fresh made ready to order. Hubby and I had a day date from early off days at work while child was away. He enjoyed thePad See Ew and I had the Pad Ped. When I say delicious...it's an understatement. It was so good and portion was perfect as wehad some left over for later. Bubble tea is pretty alright ???? Read more

Looking for the best chicken fried rice in North Charleston? Look no further. Their Thai tea deserves an honorable mention too... but warning: it?s sweet! Only one wait staff for about 10 tables on a Sunday evening but food still came within 25mins. TheirTom-Kha soup seemed a little watered down but everything else was great Read more

It?s a good simple Thai food restaurant? I would stick to the Curries? especially the red curry would be a must try. If you like... spicy food then stick to number 4 of spicy level. Do order extra portion of rice or noodles if you want. As along the curry therice portion is small. I tried the Pho but it was ok. Overall a ok experience Read more

My husband and I were in the mood for Thai food so we decided to try Lanna Thai Cuisine. At first when we pulled up, the place... looked closed but then we drove around and saw someone inside. They motioned for us to call and we realized it was takeout only.We decided to order anyways. We ordered Grilled Shrimp Papaya Salad, Pad Thai with vegetables and Noodle Salad with pork. Wereally enjoyed the papaya salad, it was the right amount of tangy, crunchy and a hint of sweetness. It was bursting with flavor. The Pad Thai was great as well, I only wish I had ordered it a little spicy. The noodle salad was okay, I wish the side dressinghad some chilies like it traditionally does and the pork itself was a little dry and chewy. Overall, we had a really goodexperience with takeout at Lanna Thai Cuisine and received fast and prompt service. Read more

Ok. This place is Good and Ok. The customer service was really nice and helpful. Even though I ordered delivery. I had this... one dish that was really good. I never had it before, I can't say anything bad. It was the one with the fried noodles. Love theportion and the flavor. To me it was almost like a pho. They made it like the way I use to get it in Michigan. As far as thelarb. I like it, but my husband didn't. It was sweet to him. He's half Asian and this is not what he's use too. Maybe we shouldof asked if it was sweet or not before ordering. It still had the same flavor and and a nice portion. Kinda throws you off ifyou're not use to it being sweet. We had some left over larb season and just added it. And it was really good after that. Read more

Okay, so I?ll be the first to admit I was a little concerned when I saw the location, it does look very dated on the... outside/inside and there weren?t any other customers. I decided to just take a leap of faith and so glad I did! The reviews arespot on. I ordered the meatball pho and it was delicious! The broth was spot on and the flavor was phenomenal. The deep friedspring rolls were good, the sauce was okay. About the same as most places. The only critical opinion I have is on the basilspring rolls - they are HUGE. I know what you?re thinking...that?s a good thing. I thought the same thing too. Unfortunately, itmakes them very difficult to eat without them falling apart. Being so large, they couldn?t really be rolled tightly enough tostay together. Having said that, the flavor of the rolls and the peanut sauce was AMAZING. This was a great find while I?m intown and if you?re looking for some yummy Vietnamese - this is definitely a winner and you won?t be disappointed! Read more
