Went on a Sunday at about 6:30 and were seated right away, there were other seats open. We went for the Duck Ramen but they... were out, they were also out of Golden eggs. We had the stir-fry steak and Panang. The stir-fry noodles included broccoli,onions, sliced radishes and steak which was very tender with a little spice. The panang came with wide noodles, chicken andtofu. The chicken had wonderful flavor but the tofu was lacking, but the again its tofu (not my meal). The sides are flavorfuland next time chicken wings. Interesting ice cream menu, fun and good. Lots of business right after we ordered, out the door. Great little place with a very multicultural menu. This was my first visit to Dashi. I ordered the 3 taco dinner. One taco each with the Chili Marinated Fried Chicken, 5 Spice... Pork Belly, and Steak. All 3 were excellent. I was surprised that the chicken taco was my favorite. It really is somethingspecial. I'm usually a fan of steak over chicken. The side dish was a type of home fries with Feta, Scallions, and a type ofHollandaise. It was unique and is worth trying. Fast and friendly service with a very comfortable atmosphere. Lunch on a Saturday. We sat at the bar. While we watched, we saw some pretty remarkable bloody Mary's coming our with all kind... of thing from whole chicken wings to skewered shrimp. They have a menu where you build your own. The food was very wellpresented and very fresh. Cucumber salad, Thai chicken wings, a pork belly taco, and duck Ramen were what we decided on. Thepictures didn't do it justice. This was easily my best meal in weeks. This is an instant favorite. We'll have to go back for theboozy milkshakes and to try literally everything else on the menu. We went for dinner on a Friday evening. The service was quick and everyone was friendly. We ordered the pork belly baos,... fried chicken burrito, patatas bravas, and a shrimp and fried chicken taco. Everything was excellent! The chicken was juicyand flavorful, the pork belly was crispy and delicous, and the patatas were a twist from what you would get in Spain, but alsogreat! They have a stand in the middle with merch, sake and Mexican wine - they were able to grab me a chilled bottle of one ofthe sakes from the back for me to enjoy with dinner. AMAZING! I got their Tofu Taco & Seasonal Veggie Taco. (Zucchini) We finished our meal off with a banana split. The location is... random but nothing but good vibes and good food inside. 100% will be back. Read more
I really enjoyed the experience. I had their wings and tacos (pork, shrimp, steak/beef) with a margarita. Im not a fan of the... shrimp. But everything else was good including the sauce. I plan to try other items in the future. It received 4 stars becauseI did think inside was a little hectic. Bartender was running through the restaurant. My order was almost put with a table Iwasn't with. The space was a little tight. So I can't say it was just because they were busy or this is their normal. Read more
Excellent tacos and burritos. The meat in the tacos is absolutely to die for, especially the chicken bc the pork. I got these... tacos/burritos three times in five days because they are THAT good. If you like fusion and MexicanXAsian sounds good to you, you will love this restaurant. It’s an efficient operation that has... you self ordering by table number and the dishes are delivered by wait staff. Good selection of beers and wines and plenty ofparking. We were a party of seven with divergent dietary quirks but the menu had something for everyone. Several dishes standout but the duck Raman was particularly fine. Service was good and the restaurant was only half full so noise was not an issue.Overall a very enjoyable experience. We give it four clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale. Read more
