My service last night through the drive thru was awful! I ordered a Coke and Diet Coke, with my meal. I asked which was the... Diet. Server rudely stated, "I don't know." "Why don't you just taste it?!" I then asked for sauce. The server became soirrated, she requested for her coworker to deal with me. Then when I opened my meal, my order was wrong. No foil in the bottom of their styrofoam trays which leads to the hushpuppies/cheese bites/fries melting through. Styrofoam can... cause cancer and other health issues. It is very frustrating because they used to always have the foil but it's been yearsnow. Outside of this, the food is very simple and could be the right thing if you want some general American food with someextra options. But, it feels like the price has been creeping up a bit while the portion size for both the chicken and theamount of sides you get in both a combo tray or if you order a side separately has been getting much smaller too. Good food, the cheese bites are delicious! As far as how long it takes to get the food is a whole different thing. Been multiple... times and the wait is usually over 15 mins. Plus dining room is closed, so drive though is the only way. But it is also a cheapoption when it comes to fast food. Husband, my 3 year old, and I ate for $16. Read more
I came here because I haven't been in SC for almost a year and wanted some cook out. The food was good. But what I have an issue... with is the dining room is still closed after over 2 years. I walked inside because the door was unlocked, so thought it wasopen. Quickly to realize that it's obviously not open due to storage in the dining room. Since I was inside I asked if I coulduse the restroom and they said no. So I proceeded to order my food through the drive through and go back to my hotel. I will notreturn to this location until they get their act together and open their dining room back up like everyone else. Read more
Used to be the best Cookout in the area. Hopefully for the other locations this is no longer true! Very lackluster everything.... And they didn't even blend the shakes - just threw the stuff into cups unmixed. Just not so great anymore. EDIT: To the "owner"who responded: I won't be calling as my issues were very minor overall and there are other nearby locations to visit - I amresponding to your response though because I sincerely wonder why you chose my review to respond to when there are many previousreviews from people with much larger issues who have never been responded to at all? Sincerely, if you want to start improvingthings, I think a great place to begin would be to ensure ALL reviews speaking of ANY issues get responded to and not just maybepick and choose.
