It's a little hard to find evidently they closed a raid recently and my Garmin and phone did not know. The beer was good.... Nothing stood out as exceptional but the beer was good. The atmosphere is cool, but if raining there would be nowhere to reallyhangout. It is a true brewery inside and out. Again good beer and atmosphere just nothing to brag about. Gotta love laid back industrial breweries. Like you walked into a buddy?s garage. Great location, chill spot, friendly owners.... And obviously top quality beers. Blown away by the Kolsch and Smoked Rye Pale. And happy to hear they?re expanding, because theydeserve it. This is a must-visit for any self-respecting craft beer drinker. Read more
This place gives you that backyard feel. Cold beers on a hot day. It's a small place that offers big taste. Kolsch and the... Smoked Rye ale were my favorites. Bartender was knowledgeable and friendly. Offers outdoor seating corn hole, frisbee and otheroutdoor games. The only downfall here was it does not offer wheelchair accessible bathrooms. There are several great breweries in Charleston now. COAST is the pack leader in my book. Their beer is always tasty.... Blackbeerd and Kolsch are 2 of my staple picks but whenever they have something new, I have to try it. The facility isn't "alldolled up" so if that is what you prefer, you may want to hit another brewery. But if you crave most excellent beer, reallygreat people and a solid community feel, COAST is your jam. They also tend to have a BBQ truck on site. Check their Facebookfor details on that. So epic! Truly a gift to have these guys around. They aren't as wild as some of the other breweries in Charleston but they know what... they've got and keep producing solid beer. The whole crew is great to be around. Type 1 Pale Ale and Boy King are my favorites. Read more
