Recently discovered this place right around the corner, love hibachi and wanted to give it a try. Ordered a variety of foods for... a large adult foodie family from a chicken bowl to sushi to a bento box. Read through some reviews while enjoying our meal. First, reviews are individual opinions and should be viewed as such. I have had many good and poor experiences that contradictedthe reviews posted. With all that said, we all enjoyed our meals. We found the portions to be appropriate to the price, foodwas well prepared, hot, and visually appealing. Half of us like our meal as is, half preferred more seasoning. Personally Ilike to taste the food that is seasoned, teriyaki chicken should still taste like chicken, not a textured ingredient that hasthe exact same over seasoned flavor as the zucchini next to it. So if the difference in our experience is due to their response to some of the older, less than complimentary reviews.z kudos, that is exactly how new businesses succeed. We all plan to eatthere again. If you are looking for a well prepared fair priced meal from a place that is locally owned and operated youshould have a good experience here. If you are looking for the average fast and cheap hibachi chain that comes off the steamertable. maybe not so much your kind place. You get what you pay for; They have earned our return visits. PS, the young ladybehind the register was attentive and polite. Would love to see this small business continue to use feedback to stay in tunewith their customers needs. Looking forward to you becoming a mainstay in North Charleston… Thank you for a good meal, willsee you again soon. Read more

Never again! If you like \"boiled hibachi\" then this is your place. They must boil it in flavored water it was so bland. The... hibachi chicken and the teriyaki chicken was the same. The teriyaki chicken was not as the picture shown. The salad is WET! Thewhite sauce and ginger sauce is bland. Paid $3.00 for really just 2 pieces of shrimp. They just need to close down. Plus thelittle girl at the register has no customer service skills. Also they are overpriced for subpar food. Read more

Ok soooooooi just tried this place for the first time, and I was expecting more to be honest. The steak was ok. It wasn’t to... die for or anything like that, I was expecting to spend around 15 bucks and ended up spending 25.. which wasnt worth it to me.The price went up because I had to add extra meat being as the entree itself barely came with any. It just wasn’t worth themoney. The food was okay though but there are other places that are much better food taste wise, price wise and quantity wise. Imost likely won’t go back to be honest, BUT it’s definitely worth a try so if your reading this review give rhe place a try. Read more

I was excited to see another hibachi place open next to us and really wanted to like this place, I don’t like leaving bad... reviews especially when it’s a small business with nice people but it was just that bad…spent $50 on crab wontons, hibachishrimp and hibachi chicken and one tempura shrimp sushi roll… all of us were so disappointed from the first bite ???? the crabwonton was straight thick cream cheese that wasn’t even melted and didn’t taste crab at all, the white sauce was extra white(daughter asked if it was ranch) and tasted like vinegar so couldn’t even use. The rice, chicken and veggies were so bland, didn’t taste any seasoning of teriyaki sauce at all, the chicken had no flavor or texture. To top it off the sushi had a badflavor and texture and chewy, I almost threw up. I’ve literally never had sushi I didn’t like so it was extreme. Wecouldn’t even finish and are now still hungry ugh.
