We went to register and waited while a man placed his to go order, then cashier turned and walked away. Two other employees came... up they all spoke with each other, then turned and walked away, stating someone would help us in a moment. The original ladycame back to register to check us out. The bill had a convenience fee 4% added. The memo on bill said convenience fee would beadded if you pay with card and if you pay with cash you would get a 4% discount. I paid in cash and asked for the discount. Iwas informed that she reversed the 4% charge and that that was the cash discount. After waiting 10 minutes to pay I was nothappy and the 3 employees were rude. Read more
Breck's has been in a wonderful niche and convenient location in North Charleston for a very long time. Reasonable prices, good... service, and I really love that a lot of the menu has remained unchanged for years. We always leave impressed about how good ofa meal we've had for the price we paid. Went to a new place, Breck's Steakhouse for dinner. Got the Fried Pork Chops with loaded baked potatoes and Mac and Cheese. OMG... was it delicious!!! Everything was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent and the Chef impeccable. Read more
Food is good. It was a Saturday and they had been very busy. We love the fried mushrooms and the ranch and blue cheese are... awesome. They were out of several menu items (and we can understand that on a busy Saturday). The fish was hot and fresh and allthe other entrees were good too. We will definitely be back to try some other menu items. Read more
We are from out of town and we were looking for a family owned restaurant and we found this needle in the hay stack. Our... waitress was wonderful, nice and attentive. We got the crab dip appetizer and after getting over the shock of it being cold, ithad great flavor. Our steaks came out perfectly cook and tender. Then we ended our meal with their cakes- they were homemade andabsolutely delicious. This is defiantly and go to place and that is saying a lot since my husband is a trained chef and hasbeen in the restaurant industry for 30+ years. The service was great. We went to have the prime rib. We got there at 5:30 and they had sold out. We had chicken, rib eye and... mushrooms Swiss steak. The chicken was dry. The Swiss steak was very thin and overcooked. Read more
This place is a hidden gem. They have gigantic juicy delicious burgers, country fried steak cooked to perfection. They must have... somebody's grandma in the kitchen blessing us with this cooked with love food. And their blue cheese dressing is to die for. Read more
Excellent surf and turf. Their blue cheese dressing is the best I?ve ever had. It?s also available to take home.
