Very underwhelming! The signature burger was small, the bread was dry and the patties were small. Spent $20 on lunch to sample a... few things here I mentioned it was my 1st time (definitely will be my last) and it was noted on my receipt for what purpose??There wasn't anything special about it and sometimes we need to remind ourselves. We always look forward to eating at Swenson?s and it has always been great until today. 2 doubles fries and mushrooms. Buns were... burnt, no tray for the food, didn?t ask if we wanted ranch with mushrooms as usual, didn?t ask if we?d like anything else. I had trouble with my headlights in the past and did not turn them all the way off and explained it to the staff but the staff... still punished me. They purposely filled other large orders where we only had three hamburgers and arrived well before theothers. I?m still sitting. I need a receipt so they are now taking their time. Swenson's has always been my favorite drive in restaurant but has gone downhill over the last couple years. They used to have... crispy great fries and great ranch but they changed their fries and ranch and now we don't order them, which is a shame. We arethere a week ago, and their buns were stale and their poppers were chewy and old. We may stop going there all together. Theyneed to bring back their old fries and ranch dressing and make their food hot and fresh!!! Servers are usually all greatthough!!! I love Swensons. It's one of the few places my brother and I can agree on. Burgers are great (though I wish we could ask for... them to be cooked a little less). We tried the new milkshake, mint oreo, and weren't disappointed! Fries are always hot. Staffis always friendly. Read more
Awesome burger joint, I love this place. My wife is from Ohio and I eat here every time we go to visit.
