Soup was tasty and fresh. No coconut juice in stock. Coconut custard pie rubbery. Calamari appetizer inedible and sent back.... Shrimp cakes were likely frozen. Would not return. Very disappointed. Read more

It's not a restaurant. It's a diner. Table surfaces are sticky. Boxes are dumped in the back of the dining hall. Price/quality... is high. You either decrease prices or increase quality. The soup was way sour, yet, nothing says about it on the menu. Thaiiced coffee and some noodles were good. If I were an owner I would entirely renovate this business and change the chef. Read more

Love the atmosphere. Looks like you are in an aquarium. The food is great too, mostly spicy but I love spicy food!

The food is consistently delicious. We go for the Pad Thai but have liked Ginger Perfect, and Siamese Beef. Guys, this place... delivers always. My family and I have been coming here for years. Consistently delicious. What can I say! Read more

Not so fresh tasting Thai, our order tasted like it was prepped yesterday and simply reheated today. Portions were oddly small... and unevenly flavored. Our Beef Mussaman was the best of the three dishes and sadly this entree had the smallest broth portion.Flavoring was controlled without anything being overpowering. The beef was indeed soft and the two potato chunks were justright. Our green curry was way too spicy (we asked for a two out of five) and we lost every other flavor of the dish after thefirst bite. The Tom Ke Hed soup had way too much fish sauce in the broth and the vegetables tasted like they were a day or twoshort of their expiration date. Again, the portion was very small. Thankfully our dinner arrived warm so we got a fairexpectation of what the meal should taste like. Read more

While the interior decorator did an amazing job, the food here is worse than Panda Express. We ordered pork and chicken but... found a shrimp shell in our food... The fried rice is just ok and the drunken noodles had a slight chemical taste to it. Foodiesbeware and go to Amina Thai instead Read more

AMAZING!! Didnt get the friendliest of greetings, but the server was great. My first time there and I was in awe of the... asethtics, it is beautiful inside with a underwater theme. I was skeptical on food, I am a picky eater, but the food was great!I had a good portion size. The drink was great. I will definitely go back next time I am in town. Read more

Had lunch at Tara Thai on Rockville Pike today. We had Beef Mussamunn and Pad Thai. Both entrees were delicious and nice... portion. The service was prompt, friendly and professional. The restaurant atmosphere and decor and the main entrance lookhowever, needs some upgrading and clean up. Perhaps some Thai decor for the interior would give the place a bit more authenticfeel. Removing stacks of patio chairs covered with tarp next to the entrance would take away some of the unpleasant look of theexterior. With the hand-written notice on the door and stacked up chairs we actually thought the place was closed from 20 feetaway and almost didn't go in. Turned out the notice said "use other door." Read more
