Excellent spot for lunch. Quick service, good food. I would call it a hidden gem but its well know in town
The place was nice and clean with lots of natural light. The service was friendly but they didn?t offer any drink refills. I... will review only the plates I had; the fish chouder: chowder is characterized by being rich and thick, and this was not; it wasvery watery. The steak tips: good but a little spicy. I ordered chicken Alfredo which was a special. It came out and the chicken was still pink and tasted rotten. I had my fiancé... take a bite to confirm. When the waitress came back I told her and she said ?okay? Do you want something else?? I ordered adessert and it was okay. When the check came I was still charged for the uncooked food. Had a nice prime rib and wife enjoys a lobster roll. The also have a number of beers on tap. My party also share the sampler... platter as a appetizer. It ha a load of onion rings and fried mushrooms which were quite good. It also mozzarella sticks andboneless wings. They both were delicious. I was expecting a lot better based on the reviews but its a definite avoid. Service was very slow and food was not right... (lobster served in lobster pie was still frozen, not fresh, steak way over cooked when asked for medium). Seemed like a lot ofcorners are cut to keep prices down (but not really) at the cost of a better experience. If you cant taste food anymore, thenyou should be fine otherwise. Read more
I got takeout here tonight. The person handling the to go orders was on point. I ordered the Haddock Nuggets dinner, the sweet... bbq chicken tenders and a tuna melt. All the food was super fresh and tasted great. I love that their batter wasn't heavy likesome restaurants do it. The tartar sauce was some of the best I've ever had. My dad said the tuna melt was fantastic. Ourdinners came with house green salads which were also very nice. Overall I had a great experience ordering takeout here. Theinside looked like a nice place for a family dinner. Definitely a local spot worth eating at if you live in the area or arepassing through. I'll surely be back :) Read more
Went to Johnson with my fiance and my brother-in-law and my sister-in-law the sitting process was quick and the service was... great we didn't wait too long for the food to arrive when the food arrive it was amazing and delicious I will recommend anycouple or family to visit Johnson and enjoy the incredible seafood..????
