The restaurant is more like a bar, it's pretty loud, and the drinks are served in plastic cups. The food, however, is pretty... good. Their ribs were good,but their fresh catch of the day was even better! The dirty mashed potatoes were super, and theirfresh steamed veggies were really good. Whoever cooks there, really knows what they're doing! The view from the patio was niceeven though the entrance to the restaurant is not the prettiest .... Still, I didn't like that guests could smoke in there. Wewere visiting with kids who have asthma, it's important that we don't have to worry about our kids' respiratory problems whiledining.. unfortunately, this was one of my concerns while at Shuckers'... We were staying nearby and we stopped by for a semi-quick meal. I know it?s a sit down restaurant but we made it quick. We were... a party of 7 and at first the manager said we would need to wait 30 mins. We were willing to split into two tables if that madethings move faster. He came back within three minutes and had a table for us seven. I ordered the fish tacos with margarita andthey came out pretty quickly. They were excellent to taste the side of fries that I ordered were great. Everyone enjoyed theirfood and drinks. We were finished within an hour and a half. Being on the waterfront was a nice treat. Table by the water ????, beautiful views, just missed the sunset but orange sky left me knowing the sunset... was breathtaking, food was delicious, drinks were great, music was perfect, and loved ???? our server, born in Cuba and he camehere to Miami to pursue the American dream. We have come here by boat more then once ? But this was the first time that you now have to pay a docking fee? $1 per foot . So... keep that in mind if coming by boat ! The place as great views,a good vibe and most of all great food . The dolphin fingersblackened , delicious!! Service can sometimes be slow so relax and enjoy the view?s of the passing boats. I picked this restaurant from the reviews, the view and the menu prices in the area. You cannot beat the 5 star achievement on... the above. Now don't expect $$$$$ quality dishes, but they were exceptional at the price point paid. The view is perfect forgathering. Easy to park without a charge as well. Loved it and will be back!! The food was good! The wait was short, even for a busier night. And our server Rob was really great and friendly! My sister has... an allergy to wheat and he was awesome communicating to the kitchen staff! Loved that for us! A very nice surprise that I think is hidden for an unfortunate entrance. But, when you get there you will enjoy of a waterfront... view with a chill American environment and nice food. Great if you want to feel Miami looking at bay and the urban landscape. Read more
