This place has been here since before 1964, although by a different name way back then. The food is always great, and if you... like milkshakes, you will LOVE theirs! My 78-year-old mother tells me stories about going to the drive-in on weekends with herfriends and dates back in the late 1950s. She used to drive all the way to the drive-in from Kline, S.C., at that time because,as Mother says, "Not only was it the only place to start with that we could go and hang out as teenagers, it stayed the BESTPLACE to hang out with friends and family!" Snow cap is a classic drive in (minus the roller skates and dinner plates on the windows) the slaw and burgers are phenomenal.... You pull in to a space and when ready flip the switch up for service. Or you can sit inside or outside by the service windows.They also offer delivery through other services and curbside pickup. Try their smokehouse or soft serve. All great. Read more
Staying at the Look Away Inn for going on four weeks, waiting for my newly purchased home to close I found this amazing 50's... style drive in. Its within two blocks of the Inn. The food is amazing and a wide variety to choose from. My family and I havetried and lot of menu items and not been disappointed. I would compare the burgers to Applebee's but much better flavor. Thewaitress and great and will even make kid sized root beer floats if you ask. Highly recommend. A truly great find. After almosta year of eating at the Sno-Cap it's still consistent and ever changing with monthly specials. Read more
Can?t believe it took me 36 years to make it here! This place is just adorable! Kind, attentive staff and great food for an... early morning lunch! The fries were crispy, yet soft inside and were lightly seasoned! Fresh and hot! Not overly done at all!Simple goodness. The chicken tenders were given ?5 Stars? by my son! I tried one and agreed! Light crispy batter and you couldtaste the flavor in the seasoning and natural chicken. When you tear the chicken you can definitely tell they are NOT frozen andwe appreciate that! Burger was delicious and prices are fair and reasonable. Didn?t feel like we over paid and had leftovers totake home! Will be back! Great burgers and best fries and ranch I have had in a long time! Servers are very nice and place is perfect from all drinks... from frozen mugs to being able to order from the parking spot and they come out to take it. Total nostalgia. Read more
Sno-Cap has always been a great little spot for us for years and years, but the new owners have taken something great and turned... it into gold. The food quality and service has gone up tenfold. As a born and raised local, I am so happy that they are still inbusiness and going in the right direction. My mom and dad used to go on date nights here - and now here I am bringing theirgrandchildren to enjoy the food here. It's a great little secret gem and if you are reading reviews because you are thinkingabout going - just go and see for yourself. Read more
