My family has been shopping @ Butcher Boy for over 25 years. Great food and a staff that is dedicated to their clients needs.
I have shopped at Butcher Boy for over 40 years. They use to be in Salem, NH, but moved to Mass, but that didn't stop me from... making the hour and a half drive!!! That's how great they are. I have yet to find a more friendly, helpful and knowledgeablebutcher closer to home. BB provides top quality cuts. Meats tend to be more expensive than traditional grocery meats, but thequality is outstanding and is worth the extra expense. We love their tomato sausage. Any cut purchased there is sure to bebetter than store bought. They are well known for their steaks and sausages. Great for every day or, if you can't afford it,for a special occasion. They also have prepared foods, subs, Italian specialties, prepackaged marinated meats, andRichardson's Home Made Ice Cream by the tub in the freezer section. The location not only serves as a butcher market,, butalso is a small grocery store with unique foods and a bakery.. Definitely worth a visit...bring at least 100$ with you becausethere are so many great choices, you'll be disappointed if you don't have the money to spare. The vibe alone is magnetic andmakes you want to stay to be part of the old school environment. Every time I go, I am brought back to that old Italianneighborhood feeling or the old corner store with familiar faces that greet you by name and ask you how your mother is doing.
