Absolutely delicious chicken. Piping hot, fresh, well seasoned. But honestly,y rating is mainly for the amazing woman behind the... counter. She was sweet and did her utmost to make sure that we got what we wanted and left satisfied. If I could go higher, Idefinitely would because rarely do you find someone who cares for their customers like that. A+ Service. Read more

I will start by saying that I've had Au Cheval's burger multiple times and didn't think there was a sandwich that would ever... come close to it... the Nashville hot sandwich at Angry Egg is a worthy challenger for best sandwich I've ever eaten. Thebreading falls apart in your mouth, the flavors of the sauce and slaw are incredible, but they don't dominate, and the chickenitself is tender and juicy. If you love chicken sandwiches, you need to visit Angry Egg as soon as possible. Read more

I?m a fan of Nashville hot chicken sandwiches and they aren?t too many places that offer it in the Chicagoland area. So when I... drove by today and saw the sign I knew I had to turn back and give Angry Egg a try. I got the angry egg sandwich at which washot chicken, slaw, bacon, house sauce (lick it off the wrapper good), fried egg, pickles(good) on a brioche bun. I also got ahealthy side of Mac and cheese and by healthy I mean a good size portion. The sandwich was big and delicious and as much as Iwanted to savor every bite I found my self chowing down and licking the sauce off my fingers all too soon. I even consideredgoing back for a second sandwich and amping up the heat but I had to get to work and that Mac and cheese which was also greatfilled me up. I?d definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for tasty and straight fire place to eat. Read more

I have try The angry... egg sandwich aand I thought a little too heavy for me but full flavor because a lot going on in this sandwich. I also think itreasonable price for such a quality sandwich. Next time I will get The original Nash. Read more

Tried to eat here last week but they sold out. It?s definitely a hidden gem. They buy the chicken fresh and the end product... shows it. The breading is crispy but light. The chicken was moist and flavorful. Gonna try the Chicken & Waffles next. The staffconsists of two so be patient. Recommend calling ahead to secure an order whether eating in or taking out. good portion, good taste fairly priced for what you get. IMO could go a little lighter on the breading but that's me being... picky. strongly recommend trying it out. we will be returning and likely cater a party from them. Read more

Tucked away in the far end of a strip plaza and easy to miss is Angry Egg. A small local family run chicken restaurant offering... fresh, never frozen chicken with a not so angry smile. We came in on a Friday near closing time and was greeted very openly by alady who gave us a quick run through of the menu (written largely on the wall) and her suggestions and what was popular amongstlocals. I ordered the namesake Angry Egg and my girlfriend had the Chicken and Waffles. One can definitely taste the quality ofthe chicken here. My Angry Egg sandwich was a bit of a mess, but tasty nonetheless. The chicken and waffles were exactly whatone would expect. Restaurant policy is that near closing time all orders are taken to go. Which I do fully understand. But Ifeel that the policy compromised the integrity of the breading on both the sandwich and tenders causing it to absorb thecondensation and fall apart in the to go containers. All in all, my visit here was enjoyable and I would come back. I would rateAngry Egg a little above 4 stars, but not quite 5. Read more

So great! What a hidden gem! Food is flavorful and cooked fresh. Menu items may seem pricey, but the portion sizes are huge, and... the food quality is excellent, so you really get your money's worth. I ordered the Angry Egg, and my husband had the three-piecetenders, and we have leftovers! We honestly probably could have split a meal (but why would you want to when the food is thisdelicious). Restaurant looked clean, and the staff was very friendly. It took 15-20 minutes to cook our food, so we went for awalk while we waited, and the cashier called us when our food was ready. Next time, I'll probably order ahead to avoid the wait, but there definitely will be a next time for us. The waffles smelled heavenly in the restaurant, so I might try that next. Ifyou're nearby, check this place out. If you're far, make the trip ;-) Read more
