We ordered the Van?s Family Pack at the Norman location. The ribs were great and the chicken was delicious. We got the curly... fries which were good and the fried okra that was amazing. I love this little place, the staff is very friendly and the service is great. I've been here many times for lunch and every... trip has been great. A lunch combo comes with a sandwich, curly fries and a drink and all for around $8 or less. The meats arealways moist and packed with flavor and the fries are always hot and tasty. Highly recommend!!! Tried the ribs and the beans forthe first time today; they were both very good. Update?still great! I was in town briefly today with the family, we all lovedit! I ordered a cheeseburger with mustard and easy onions only. Per picture, that is not what I got. I used to really like vans. But lately they have just been awful in terms of what they give you. For the 2 meat dinner they... literally gave me 3 slices of brisket (where half of it is fat that I will cut off and not eat even though I asked for extralean brisket because this keeps happening) and 2 ribs. The 2 meat dinner used to come with 4 oz of each meat. Which is the sameamount they put on their sandwiches. Never have I ever had a brisket sandwich from vans with only 3 slices of brisket. I tookoff all the fat which they used to do and I only got 2.6 oz. it?s only recently they started giving out this much fat left onthe brisket. Like I?ve been going her for 20 years and I?ve never seen anything like it. And I won?t complain if there?s alittle bit of fat. But there was 1.8oz of fat that I took off. That?s just ridiculous.
