Reviews for The Diner in Norman, OK
If you want some of that old Norman feel, this place nails it. They've been here for like 60 years. Food is good, service is... great. It's small though. Don't be coming in with a huge party and be shocked. I think there are like 10 tables and the counterwhich seats like 10. Read more
A Norman mainstay, you just can't go wrong at the Diner. The specials are always a treat be it a spin on menu item or something... new, they are sure to please. Breakfast or lunch, you can go with old standards if thats your style or the Diner's own uniquedishes, the tamale breakfast is a popular example. The service is excellent, coffee is fresh and you'll be looking forward toyou next visit. There's no gimmick here, just a solid menu, good prices, great staff, and locally owned. Read more
We wondered into this little place on our way back to Texas. I had the B.L.T. It was very good. My oldest son enjoyed the... club sandwich. Our party also had the blueberry pancakes and a hamburger. They were both pleased with their orders also. Everyone that worked there was very friendly and kind. This is a great place to stop and have a great diner experience. Read more
Good food. Lots of flavor and spice! Small diner so you may have to wait. It'll be worth the wait though. Had a tasty breakfast.

Great atmosphere and Peter guys working were credibly welcoming and hospitable. They were great at keeping up with the table,... drink refills, and making sure everything was taken care of. I think the food is pretty good overall, but I think the atmosphereis really the draw for this restaurant. Read more
One of the best diners in Oklahoma, the service is great, nice people and very helpful. The place was remodeled few years ago... but still keeps that timeless charm, now the best part, the food; just great my favorite thing is the biscuits and gravy, forthe longest time I thought that was a crazy idea, I?m not a fun of a saggy bread (I hope that is how you say it, English is mysecond language) anyways, so finally I try it and it was fabulous and it became one of my favorite things. So to my foreignfriends if you reading this I know it sounds outrageous but believe me biscuits and gravy is one of the best things USA culinaryhas to offer. Read more
