Tonight there was an issue with the jukebox. Everyone wanted to play it. There was a white haired gentleman in his Air Comfort... Solutions golf shirt that had such an influence on the manager of Louie?s that we could not listen to said juke box. I hadalready started selecting music and noticed it was playing without volume. When I asked about this I was told that there werefolks that wanted to listen to the game. Blowout by the way. Meanwhile he is playing video golf with his like minded associates.Everyone tabbed out and left in frustration. Way to manage your bar. I do not care who you are or how much money you have, youdo not have the right to violate others expected freedoms in a bar. I will drive to Moore before I step in the Norman Louie?sever again. Edited: So happy to find this venue no longer smelled of machine motor oil!! Had a hankering for some of their pepperoni pizza... so we gave them another try. ???? So glad we did! This evening Hubby ordered the Italian Stallion sandwich we shared somepretzels while awaiting my pizza. The crimson amd cream shot was delightful as was their Oh So Cherry cocktail. Thank youLouie's for a fantastic evening of food and drinks. We normally eat at the Pub W in this area however recently had been lookingto try other options that have a bar. As soon as we arrived in the western section of Brookhaven we noticed a distinct aroma ofindustrial machine oil. We didn't think anything of it as outside of Volcano Sushi Bar next door we smelled it as well howeverthe interior was odor free... Unfortunately Louie's smelled heavily of the odor so while eating you could actually taste it. Donot recommend sitting at the end of the bar to dine as the doors are directly behind this area and you'll be fighting off fliesthe entire time. If you are able to reach beyond the industrial machine oil coating on everything, the food wasn't bad. Theirnachos, pizza and funnel cake fries are pretty tasty. Read more

Louie's is a great place to grab a bite. The food is good and the prices are very reasonable. Catch a basketball game on the... tube and enjoy a pizza or burger. The salads and sandwiches are excellent as well. The atmosphere is cozy and sporty. Thewaitstaff is friendly and the specials help you try new things. Read more

I guess I had high expectations because you are a Hal Smith restaurant. I had a late lunch today and I wasn't impressed. The... queso was thick cold. No prebussing. Never filled my water. Maybe it was shift change but super disappointed in my experience.My kid liked his burger so that's why it's 3 stars. Not a Karen, I work in hospitality and just really looked forward to tryingmy neighborhood Louie's and this was a miss. The tar smell was horrible too. Read more

The Norman Louie's is different then most in the area. I will rate it as my top location based on the atmosphere and layout.... This has an upstairs sitting area. It has a nice bar area as you walk in with speedy service for both drinks and food. Read more

I am definitely NOT the type to write reviews. BUT, I went to Louie?s last night at about 10:00pm, and ordered plenty. The wait... times were a bit long, but I didn?t really care. When I got my food, I was served RAW CHICKEN. When I told to waitress politely,I got a ?Oh yeah that?s disgusting!? and heard some jokes about it, and how they changed their recipe but forgot to update theircooking times. And, that the manager that rarely cooks was filling in as chef. WHAT? I was only offered the chicken removed and$6 off my bill. And yes, I noticed this AFTER I had already eaten some of the chicken.
