We love this place. Our last visit was a bit strange I'm sure they have their reasons however we thought it came off as rude. We... ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 Salad bars. Long story short I ate salad bar first and was to full to eat my sandwich, my husbandwent up to ask for a to go box. He was asked why we needed a to go box...umm for a sandwich, then it was okay. I keep trying and I keep asking myself why. I used to love the Big Chef salad but then started noticing bits of salmon on the... hard boiled egg, wilty lettuce and just less than you would expect for the price. Today, I got a grilled chicken ceasar wrap andthe first thing I see is a romaine butt. Also took 30 minutes to get my curbside pick up order (which I had to go in to get). Ithink I'm really done. One trip salad bar even if you just get the salad bar. ???? The cheese and broccoli soup was good...yesterday or the day before... but not when I had it. I'll give them another chance but I've had better. Addendum: Jason's response changed my name to Ian andequated corn muffins to salad bar with soup. People's exhibit "A". READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO HERE- The salad bar is now limited to one trip per person, so you can only get stuff once. FILL YOUR... PLATE!!! Drink a lot because there are free refills, and eat all the ice cream you want if you buy a salad bar meal. They alsohave a real menu, which isn't too great. Read more
We made the hour long trip to Bloomington-Normal specifically to eat at Jason?s Deli My wife got the California Club sandwich... and I ordered the Reuben .. the first thing I noticed when they delivered the food to our table was the Reuben wasn?t onMarbled Rye bread like pictured in the Ads in the Store and online but the Bread was fine.. but the Corned beef was just somecommercially sourced lunch meat that was obviously boiled away with little or no seasoning and the sauerkraut was at the samelevel , some packaged very mild and added nothing to the flavor of the corned beef.. I ate half of my sandwich because I washungry.. My Wife?s club sandwich was equally unimpressive.. and she also only ate half of hers.. upon leaving we stopped at aTaco Bell and ordered a couple Tacos just to eat something with Flavor?. $24.90 for Jason?s Deli and wasn?t worth half of that..we enjoy a Good Meal and I LOVE Reuben Sandwiches, definitely won?t be returning.. Haven't been here in awhile but they did a good job. I had the Ceasar salad with salmon and it was huge. I also tried the tomato... soup. It was thick and creamy. They have a few soup flavors I'd be willing to try. They have avocado toast now which I'll haveto try next time! Read more
I love the food here! Unfortunately, our most recent order left something to be desired. I wouldn't normally put this criticism... publicly, but the receipt indicated this to be the preferred method for feedback. We placed a curbside order, my wife got asalad bar, and among the items she selected, she chose chocolate mousse. Normally, when we do this, it comes in a separatecontainer, because no one in their right mind would put chocolate mousse INTO a salad, right? But that's exactly what happened.A scoop of chocolate mousse right into the salad container! We scooped out what we could and got almost two bites of mousse. Hadto throw the rest of it away, along with the veggies it was stuck to. Please make sure all of your employees know that thefollowing items on the salad bar should always be packaged separately from the salad itself: - Chocolate mousse - Applesauce -Cottage cheese Also, we did not even get the side of Italian Pasta Salad that we paid for separately. We stopped here to get lunch on our way home. I've never been to a place that has a drive thru option that has such a wide... variety of quality food to choose from! I had the bigger better BLT and a cup of their broccoli soup. They were both delicious!Highly recommend! Read more
